I think the main problem, to me, wasn't how sexist it was (even though, yeah, sexist = bleh), but mostly because it's sexist in a useless way that destroys the character's original persona. In all the versions of Starfire created, she would never speak this way. I'm telling creators, don't be sexist, but if you must be, at least do it in a way where the character's personality stays intact. It's as if someone wrote Wonder Woman as a shy ingenue. It doesn't make sense.

Indeed. It's not just disrespectful on a female point of view, it's disrespectful to the male fans too, those who want their heroes to do more then being sex toys.
