Tasty, tasty foot! I'm sorry for busting your bubble Lydia! But I got you cake, and will probably get you cake for the next 9 months, so we are even. *laughs*

Nothing teaches you how much kids can be devious tricksters like working in daycare. But them being that way doesn't mean they are nasty kids. Kids like to test the limits of what they can do. And being slightly devious is the way to do it. So it's nothing personal. It's trial and error and life and all. Plus, it's really, REALLY fun, but when they start trying to trick you, you get to mess with THEM. And otusmarting a large group of 8-year olds is harder then it sounds.

Kids have their own personal logic.

Got a new coworker today - a girl who makes jewelry. Kinda makes me think that I still want to learn to make jewelry. Mostly, i'd like to try Resin jewels. Because, it's basically a metal back, a drawing and a "plastic/glass-like" top. That way I could make necklaces with my tiny vampires! And other stuff. New girl tells me the Montreal Jewelry School offers one-day classes in various thing.  I should do that. It would be a welcome change of pace from drawing. Plus, useful skills! For resin jewelry, there's a thousand tutorials online. So i'm good for that.

Also, I think I actually like the Tinkerbell movies now. *facepalms* I'm such a Disney Dupe. Ensnare me with your pretty, pretty animated charms will you, Disney? I guess i,ll have some movies to add to my collection. Boy kids are really loving my apartment. Toys and movies and fairy tale books galore.

I wish I had a muffin right now. Chocolate and cinnamon. And cherry. Have you guys ever tasted a mix of those three things? It sounds delicious.

-Isa

*laughs* Totally agree with you about kids! They can be very clever if it means getting what they want. (And they can be the most stubborn things to have ever existed. XP)

I've just gotten into bending, I'm still a novice, but it's fun.

I can't help but like the Disney fairies. I got one of the artbooks a while back. ^_^ They have nice character designs. I've actually been thinking about watching the latest movie, The Great Fairy Rescue. Clips I've seen has gotten me curious.

By the way, just found this Chocolate cherry muffins

Bending?

Yeah, that darn fairy franchise is really attractive. Great designs, fun voice acting... Argh, it's a seductive trap!

Oh, muffins!

TOTALLY TRUE!!!!

Kids are sneaky bastards. I love kids though. Kids being sneaky bastards is why I hate when people look at itty bitty Azula and say how omg she was born evil and that shit. No, that's what kids DO. They test limits...she just got away with stuff.

Honestly, kids can be psychotic jerks and think crazy shit is funny. You have to teach them, no setting things on fire is not cool. Or, no hitting a golf ball off your brother's face isn't funny or smart (true story). They're like little psychos.

And, oh yes...the part about being curious about sex. I cannot tell you how many times I've been groped by my nephews.

Yeah, whenever I hear someone say "Ten year olds should be innocent and pure", I wonder if they ever met a 10 year old. But at least kids don't really do it to be nasty. They test their limtis as you say. It's sneakiness motivated by curiosity and a desire to find one's identity. So it's not that bad. As long as the kids learn that setting things on fire is indeed wrong. You can't prevent kids from being a bit mean, but you need to teach them why it's mean.

Exactly. Kids totally don't understand that things could really hurt people. They don't really understand death, either. Kids can be mean and enjoy it but they also don't understand...hey, that's not nice. Or, understand why you have to be nice either.

Sounds like my newest little nephew, all right! He'll cry for just about anything. It's a wonder my sister hasn't killed him yet! She was never very patient with such things....which is probably why she got such a fussy kid!

Now, pardon me while I toss back my head and LAUGH at you. I told you the Tinkerbell movies were charming! I haven't even seen the next two, but the previews alone sold me. (And just think, there are two more on the way!)

I actually came across a blurb yesterday saying a live-action comedy about Tinkerbell was in the works. I've no idea if it's true or not, but now I can't help but be curious.

Also, go for the jewelry-making classes. I got to learn how to make the metal kind forever ago in school (best art teacher ever!), and I wish I had the necessary things to continue. I loved making pendants! It's such a great medium for art! I wish I knew how to make resin jewelry. One of these days I really need to educate myself.

Live action tinkerbell? Huuuh. I think that would be a little strange. Well, no way of deciding until it's actually shown I guess. It looks weird in my head when I try to imagine it.

MAN. I LOVE KIDS. I play with them, give them toys (preferably the sort that light up and make noise) and sugar, then return them to their parents. It's perfect.

We all know my brother is going to have kids first, and I will be the best aunt EVAR.
