For eveshka the commission is finally finished! I really love, love the result! I tried to include the awesome coat and I think I did really well. Let me know what you think!!!!!!!!



Aside from that, I went to a Wake today. The Wake was for a friend of the family, or rather her father, who was murdered by his tenants. It's a pretty horrible story. Sometimes I can't believe people...It was young people too, barely adults. I feel shame for my generation.

On a more positive note, all the family went and when we got home, we had a good family dinner. My little brother even got home on time - he was gone on a road trip with friends and came in right when dinner got to the table. I also managed to draw 4 pages this weekend. YAY!

Here, a few more Princess Tutu fanarts. I'm really into drawing this series. It's a fun series. Fans of things like Sailor Moon and Card Captor Sakura can only fall in love with it. I know I did!





 

Speaking of Card Captor Sakura, i'm rather angry. It's now impossible to find the books and the Dvds at decent prices because the license expired and the french company went down under. Hell! I have money now! Let me buy you, anime series!!!!!

So if anybody sees a complete series of Sakura for a decent price or wishes to part with theirs, let me know. I'll be glad to go for it!

Eh? And I was just thinking that I might like to get Card Captor Sakura too! Dang, I also hate spending too much money. At least I very much enjoyed watching my new Tutu DVDs. ^^

So far, all I have found for decent prices are chinese box sets (with english subs), most likely knock offs of fansubs... The real english dvds are rare items, therefore insanely priced...

Yeah, there's little doubt those are bootlegs...I guess it's not too much of a surprise though, since it has been quite a while since the series was released. Nevertheless, "insane" really is the only way to describe those prices!

I have the entire Cardcaptor Sakura series in both box sets. o.o But I bought it at a convention, not anywhere in stores or online. D:

Lucky! I took a peek on Amazon and just about died. Single volumes for over $100?! I should not have waited...T_T

No single volumes! It's way better to purchase complete box sets. I've stuck to that iron-clad rule for the longest time and still do. >/

Oh, I know. I always get boxed sets because they're a much better deal (unless you happen to find individual volumes for dirt cheap). I still couldn't believe the prices had sort that high, though. D:

Right Stuf had some big clearout sale a few months ago, with a lot of DVDs for $3-5...It was almost all series I hadn't seen yet though, so I didn't want to get them without knowing if I'd like them, even if they were dirt cheap.

Having it all together is nice, I agree. ^^

And I am careful about which box set that I purchase, if I haven't seen the anime but am uncertain if I'll like it, I just don't bother getting it.
