Ohmygosh...Update!

Wow, barely two weeks into school and everything else I do aside from homework gets ignored. *laughs* Oh well, it's not all that bad.

I'm kindoff feeling gloomy because some of my friends are going through hard times and others took off from school. It's lonely and sad when everyone is dealing with...well...shit and you can't really help because you don't really know how or have quite that much free time to do so. Sorry to those people ^^;;

On a more happy note, I had a bit of fun drawing this, it's a crossover between the final scenes of slayers next, where lina goes to fight Phibrizzo and the final scenes of LOtR part one where Frodo decides to hitch a boat and abandon Sam to face his fate alone. Don't know why I though of mixing those two together in this one page shot, but I found the result quite amusing.

I'll probably go through some of that once I make more friends in college. I hope things improve for your friends.

It's sort of odd seeing Lina actually rowing the boat herself when there are two people she could easily get to do the manual labor for her. ^_-

True, she probably would do that...But Lina is not a weakling, and she's trying to protect them. I assume in that situation, she might row...or invent a rowing spell at least XD

The spell? "Summon Gourry!" ^_- (I make so many stupid D&D jokes with my friends...) I think Zelgadis and Amelia both look good. Amelia'd probably prefer to be out of that wet water as well... (Lina's expression is good too, of course. It still just cracks me up seeing her rowing the boat.)

I'm suprised the summon Gourry spell dosen't exist! (He always seems to drop in at the right moment after all...) And yet, that could lead to serious Gourry abuse.

You never see it used because the component to cast it is - Lina! ^_- (Much like there being a 'Summon Zelgadis/Amelia' spell in the video games and the component being one or the other. Seriously, after one shows up in the games, the other is not far behind!)

Okay, enough D&D silliness... It probably would lead to some serious Gourry abuse.

The guy's name was Boromir I think. Well, After I drew this I realised I was kinda missing Martina and Sylphiel...But I suppose if I made a second page or something i'd make martina jump, swim, and toss Lina in the drink while Zel and Amelia are watching helplessly. Follows a Lina/Martina squabble, then one of those pep speeches, and off the would go.
