Yeepee! I finally finished the design of Relina for Ichiban: Here it is! (this is a very small low resolution of the actual file. If you like it Ichi, tell me and i'll send it by email)

Other then that, life sucks a little. I have plenty of work to do, but I feel like i've lost a bit of my drive...I'm not working quite as fast and lack ideas. Anybody got advice on how to fight the end of school year blues?

I approve! (I love it!) I need to hurry up and mail off your payment - just as soon as I sort out postage. Methinks I should go check that now...

I'm not sure about lifting the blues, aside from enjoying the time you have left. Are you going to be finished with school?

Actually, i'll send the drawing first, just to make sure I charge you the right amount for postage. If you want instead then sending the drawing by email I can put it on a cd. I'll put a PDF, a high Resolution and a low Resolution JPG version.
Nope, still got two years to go. Maybe that's what's getting to me. Most of the people I like are finishing this year and taking off. Next year is gonna be a lonely one.

Hmm... You're not supposed to give me choices! ^_-; I think I should go with the CD since I was going to be using the image on my computer anyway. (T-shirt transfer, anyone? :D) That, and I would hate for the original drawing to get mutilated by the post. With my luck, that's exactly what would happen...

Ah, people leaving. I know how that goes, and I'm trying not to think too much on it right now. People are always going to come and go, but even when friends move on, you'll still be able to meet new friends. Just try not to dwell on it too much.

From: [identity profile] secondlina.livejournal.com
Well, actually, what I ment is that i'd send you the original (black and white) but i'll send you the colored one on cd at the same time(sorry for the confusion)
I dwell on it I think because i'm not very good at making friends. It seems like a lot of work is just going down the drain. I'm also going to loose my boyfriend, which feels even more like an empty void. It stinks. I hate it when I find people I love to be with and that live in a universe I love to visit and then they leave. T_T
I'm going to miss a lot of people. Yet I understand in the long run, it's for the best. I just don't like the feeling of seeing everybody move on while i seem to be stuck in reverse. I also don't like the idea of maybe loosing all these wonderful people. *sigh* Oh woe, the people that are the coolest never stay in place...

Even better. I'll have to be sure to keep everything protected when I pack up and go home in...another month! o_O

Ditto for people leaving. That's exactly how I felt when everyone I ever knew growing up got married and moved to other states... (Although I still don't see what's so great about Utah!) I was lonely for a long time after, but I've made new friends now, so even if they aren't the same people, I still appreciate them for who they are.

...and what really bugs me most is that most of my friends now live in parts of the world I can't easily get to. o.O Thank goodness the internet makes distances disappear.

Okay, so I guess i'll send you the sketch and the cd as soon as I can then.
Utah? Where is that? I vaguely remember earing about Utah as a state, but I don't recall earing anything great about it.
The internet is a good tool into maintaining relationships with people who are moving as well. Hooray for msn and other discussion programs.

Utah... Okay, if you start from Washington State (the top state on the West Coast), move east one state to Idaho, then go down south a state, there's Utah. It's actually pretty close to where I live, but a completely different world than mine. (A lot of my friends moved there since they -and I- are Mormon, since that's where the majority of American Mormons live, but Utah is way too hot and flat for me!)

I love my instant messenger, and LJ as well! (Speaking of which, I need to steal the scanner at school later so I can show you my art skills..) XP

From: [identity profile] secondlina.livejournal.com
Hahaha, Totoro a converti ton chum?

J'ai écouté Howl's Moving Castle l'autre jour.
From: [identity profile] secondlina.livejournal.com

Awesome job on the colouring!

Anybody got advice on how to fight the end of school year blues?

I know that feeling. I just can't wait for the school year to be over. I'm not sure what kind of advice I can give. Um....I try watching some of my favorite anime/cartoons, or I read/re-read some books I enjoy, or I just do nothing for a day so I can recharge my batteries.

I've been slacking off too much lately though. Maybe i'll just take an hour or so to draw a bit.
Thanks, I love the coloring too! I'm getting rather good at photoshop *pride*
