Character designing is awesome.

Still working on the bird characters. I might not do anything with these guys for a while, but at least, I get the plotbunnies out of my system by drawing these guys. I rather like the designs.
Dove - Dove is a bird now inhabiting a human body. Her own bird body was used by evil wizard Robarth to imprison princess Odette, so she is now stuck in Odette's body and seeks the princess to return her body to her and get her own back. At first, Dove does not enjoy being human, it's very complicated for a bird. But eventually, she turns humans and fears becoming a bird again. Dove is a simple minded, neutral-good type of character. She is very inspired by the ballet Swan Lake and also by The Last Unicorn (those of you who have read the Last Unicorn may recall the unicorn's debate when she got turned to a human).
Wren - Wren is a princess and the only person in the heroes who chose to be a bird. She was cursed by Rorbarth as a child (it was the third fairy gift). Her curse was that when she would turn 14, she would violently kill the person she loved the most and destroy their family. After that, even her parents refused to get close. Wren turned herself in a bird for travelling reasons - she seeks Rorbarth for vengance. She's kindoff the 'Toph' of this group. Strong, courageous, boyish and talented. at the begining of the story, Wren is 13.
Rourk, Saul and Siegfried are the three prince brothers, turned into birds by Robarth as they were trying to save Odette. They are somewhat competitive with each other, since they all want Odette as their princess, and they know that only one of them will have her. Siegfried, the eldest, is the wizest but also the harshest of the brothers. Saul is more fun-loving then Siegfried. Siegfried loves weaponery and strategy. Saul prefers things of science and psychology. As the middle child, Saul is convinced he will be king of his kingdom since his other brothers will most likely find perfect princesses, marry and go govern some enchanted kingdom somewhere. Rourk is the youngest and is interested by magic. He is over-confident, mainly because he knows the youngest brother is always the one with the better ending.
Robarth, Odile and Rowly (yes, yes it's a real name.) are the bad guys.

Plotbunnies aside, Kudos to Link for taking care of appartment stuff on his own. I promise to help with the painting though...
Gotta find me a job in montréal. Ack. 3 weeks left until I leave Ottawa!
