Naaaw, I still have it. I'm just a busy bee you kids. On November 30th, I'm participating in the comic book gala at my local comic book shop. I want to draw a bunch of new original art/fanart for it. So, all my time is being sucked by this right now (can't stop, deadline will eat me!) I did a few cool sketches. Unfortunatly, they didn't all scan well, but here's a few... All of these will turn into wonderful watercolor paintings!

First; Jack and Sally. Jack without his suit (aka skeleton) and Sally loosing her fluff. Now, I don't know much about the symbolism behind this image (my friend Celeste gasped and called this Disney sex.) but I though it was a cool idea when I sketched it.

Ichigo and Rukia. I returned to an idea I had in a sketch a while ago of using their respective sword's fabric "extensions". Looks cool in my book. Hehehe.

Watercolor does not scan well at all. But i,m doing a few watercolor original drawings such as this one. Very weird stuff, kinda modern fairy tale-ish.

This is one of the rejected sketches. It shall not be a painting. But it's still cute slayers fluff, so I though I should inflict it on you people.

In another note, I feel really drained right now. Taking care of an appartment (buying food, cleaning, bills, mail, etc), a full time job and various art things is taking more time and energy then expected. I actually have comic books that are lying around here without being read. That NEVER happens. I just hope this won't kill me. Oh well. It's only been a month anyways, maybe i'm still getting used to living on my own? Ah, we'll see.

I can't wait until I have more free time because I want to start my own webcomic and make another Secondlina's panels mini-story (I have a great idea in store) .

Sidenote to Diane: Thank you for the Disney goodness! The Pirate shirt is perfect. I now sleep in Pirate. I can't wait to be able to annoy Link with this shirt.

Also; I love Nam bread. Yay Nam. It feeds me well in this non-cooking phase i'm having.

Disney sex? Psh, that never happens! Ever! Certainly NEVER in Lady and the Tramp. She just had puppies because...just because. (Seriously, if you ever get the chance, listen to the commentary. They did admit that Tramp and Lady did get it on through implication on that lover's hill. In the 1950s, even! Walt fooled censors!)

*cough* Yes, well, anyway, I think the Jack/Sally picture is excellent.

And isn't that Pirates shirt the best? It's my favorite of the three I have! And it's definitely not blue.

P.S. - I saw a statuette of Mulan and Chang just today, and all I could think was, "Drat! I mailed off the stuff too soon!"

Oh good, even better! (So wait, you can't take snow globes on planes, but you can take on breakable statuettes? Are they fearing taint in the water of the globe? What if someone were to smuggle something -Philosopher Stone, anyone?- inside the statuette? Airlines, you make no sense to me!)

You're not suppose to bring closed liqid containers accross the border (this includes waterbottles and juices. You must buy them in the airport or on the plane). Something about contamination and the construction of a potential bomb. Snowglobes are not excluded.

Oh, I kid. I just find it somewhat ridiculous what with all the rules and bans they have at the airport anymore. How did the globe survive the trip, anyway? Did the March Hare end up with no hands to spare? ^_-;

Actually, the globe didn't survive so well. The mad hatter and the Cat are all right, but alice and the march hare got smashed to bits. But I fixed Alice and the Hare with my glue gun and maquette kit, so it's has good as new! The onyl thing missing now is a bit of a paint job to make it look nice (a part of Alice dress was gone so I recreated it with amazing putty). Since I suck at paint jobs, I though of bringing the globe to Link for him to do it. He's very good since he paints small D&D and Warhammer figurines (plus he made a tiny Guu and a tiny zel and Lina a few years back). So the globe had a hard time, but thankfully, it fell in the arms of artists. A bit like the Cheshire cat, who looks good despite being operated on! *laughs* He's very cute!

Oh man, what did they do, kick my package across the border? Sheesh! Good thing I opted not to get that other globe I saw... At least, as you said, it did fall into artist's hands, so I know you (and whoever else you might draw into the cause..oops, punned) can fix it up. I've taken to preferring the damaged goods myself, as it's fun to get in there and repair things.

I'm so glad I found that little Cheshire Cat plush! I've not seen a single one since, be it in the damaged goods shop, or in a regular shop in the parks. I think he showed up specifically on the first day I went to that place because he wanted to be yours. ^_-
