DISNEY'S ENCHANTED IS COMING OUT! THIS! WEEK!

*geekout*

This movie is awesome for me. I'm a huge fan of Disney, fairy tales and modernizing fairy tales. I'm most likely going to see this flick in theatres at least three times! *laughs*  Ah, with Stardust, this year has had nice fairy tale addictions to the fantasy movie genre. I'm so happy!

Check out the official site for a scene where princess Giselle inflicts traditionnal disney singing to central park. It's so funny!

Darn it! Why aren't you down here (or I suppose I could be up there) so I can drag you to the theatre with me? As it is, I might have to pull peoples' teeth to see it at all in theatres...but I will do what I must! The movie seriously looks awesome. The animation alone looks gorgeous.

...is it November 21st yet? :D

...In a way I look forward to november 21th. In another, it stresses me out. Where does the time go?

(just thinking) If you haven't already seen/read it, I suggest you see Ella Enchanted . The movie is good, although I have to say I like the original book a bit more. Anyway, it's a very fairytale story, actually it's a bit of a twist on the Cinderlla story.

I think I would have been happier if they had kept it fully animated. It's so rare that they churn out hand-drawn stuff anymore. Granted, I'm sure it was time for them to make yet another cartoon-liveaction crossover, but still....blah.

I kinda like the animated/live crossover. I was a big fan of Cool world and Roger Rabbit, so i'm happy. Not to mention even if it's not a full-animated feature, it's definitly a foot in the door. Disney mentionned returning to hand drawn animation anyways, so I think we can expect it! :)

James Marsden plays the Prince! I used to have such a crush on him. So much so that it was hard for me not to root for him in The Notebook.

Have you ever seen Princess Tutu? It is very fairy tale-ish. It's much love...

It's a shame you don't live closer, because I want to see that so bad...
