Nothing like opening the Ottawa Citizen to the lastest scandal about an imaginary character!!! *LAUGHS* Honestly, most people seem rather happy about this turn of events. For most of us, this changes nothing to the series (especially since it's over.) For others, it's a great little add-on. Of course, for some parents/fans it's a scary little plaything. But, one way or another, it's canon, so people will just have to deal with it. I'm a little sad. I was a big MacGornagall / Dumbly shipper, but I must admit, this amuses me so much more!
And for those who say "ah, I figured it out!" be honest: you're just as suprised as the rest of us.
Funny extra fact; on the same day I found an article about Oz where a few litterature critics stated that princess Ozma was also gay. Apparently, she was having a romantic friendship (aka strong love without sexual contact but some physical contact) with dorothy. Flipping throught the evidence, i'll admit it's possible. Ozma was turned into a boy called Tip for a good part of the story by a witch. According to the critic it might be one of the reasons for it.
It's an interesting theme I could perhaps use in my current art...
Oh well. That's all i've got for now about the recently outed people of magic worlds...
