Tiny mermaids for your hands

 Crazy sketches!! I sketched these during a meeting with friends. I really can't pay attention at people talking if i'm not doodling. Which if probably why I blank out a lot at work meetings. They talk for a long time and don't really enjoy doodling while they talk. 









This makes me want to do a story about tiny mermaids. Pocket and forearm size :D Or something.

I apologize for not having much to say lately. I'm feeling rather drained. Like my soul is drained. Blaaaargh. On a positive note, I saw a movie with a friend tonight, cxco . It was super awesome! :D

I am also currently a part of this wonderful project called the Womantology, which is basically a comic anthology with only women. It's going to rock. They have these "meet the artists" video. Sheesh, amen! I try telling my mom the same, as I like to draw during our main meeting at church. If I'm not drawing, more often than not I drift, or fall asleep, which I think is far worse than drawing!

Assuming you saw what you said you were going to see when I talked to you earlier, wasn't it though? I don't know if the mermaids you drew here were because of the mermaids there, but then I see that image of a mermaid snacking on an arm, so I wonder more. Seriously though, it bugs the heck out of me that people shot the movie down before even seeing it, when it doesn't deserve it at all.

(It didn't happen last week, but I am going to keep trying to drag the local group to see KFP2...provided they didn't run off and see it without me!)

Also, the "epic warrior" made me laugh, as she's wearing gear very similar to Victoria. If that's the case...Prince has REALLY let himself go! XD

(Lastly, is that who I think it is in the corner? On that note, I ought to scan and show you more of the doodles I did...mostly a couple weeks ago. She's not pestered me so much lately.)

I thought I was the only one who did that! It really bugged my teachers in high school, as I always sat in the front and doodled while they talked. But it was the best way for me to pay attention! I was still taking noootes D: However, my doodles do not come out nearly as pretty or refined as yours XD

Aww, thanks :3 I've been watching you a while, actually! I'm a huge fan of Rosalarian's "Yu+Me Dream", and when she recommended "Namesake" I had to check it out. You girls only had a few pages up, but I was hooked! It keeps me on edge for each new page, and I love your linework. ;w; Inking is my most dreaded part of the art process, so I really admire all the shading and texture you add to your pieces just with linework. *swoon*
