If I published a book of illustrations and sketches, do you guys think it would be interesting?

In the same vein, would a book version of all the Secondlina's Panel jokes be interesting?

Just wondering and stuff.

As much as yes, I'd be interested-- I'm not sure an illustration book would sell that well. Depends on the subject matter within and where you sell it. Those are hard for even famous artists to get good sells one.

A collection of Secondlina's panels though, I think would have a pretty wide appeal. I think that would work well.

I see what you mean about the first one. I think sketch books would sell more if you get it into a shop that caters animators and people who like to see work sketches. The jokes appeal more to an audience.

There's always the question of copyrights though.

Copyrights probably won't be a big issue if you just make small references to copyrighted characters here and there and don't try to publish full blown doujinshi. The Penny Arcade comics have been published by a major comic company; and every other page goofs on copyrighted game and/or cartoon characters.

As long as its parody its protected under "fair use". But, I'm just basing this on what I know about American copyright law. Canada may have different rules.
