Today, I spent most of the day trying to frame something, only to have a friend come in and frame it perfectly in less then five minutes. Gah. ^^;; Sometimes I feel like I can't do anything right...those days, my brain is usually scrambled...

Other then that, i'm getting a few things done: mainly homework and a few other things. I'm currently under the process of designing a book for photo class and I had to re-start all my pages because the resolution on the original was horrible and the printout was awful. I'm thinking this a bad week for homework, Isa's a little demented, you know what I mean y'all? XD

I also drew this for a friend that asked me to do a design of the main character of a book she's writting called "Table Turners" It's a pretty solid story. The girl is called Odette St-Remy and she's a "player" aka, someone who can wield destiny with a deck of magic tarot-like cards that work on luck. Odette's on a quest to get her destiny back, stolen by another "player" with the Help of her two friends Otomo "Omo" and Ariana "Ana" who are the physical manifestation of Odette's Guardian and Guide cards. The story makes me think of a super adult Card Captor, minus the pink stick. Odette makes me think of Sakura in a twisted way. I like the look I gave her...sorta a mix of a goth lolita with some mean locks of hair in dreads. I'm thinking of making the dreads orange because of someone I admire a lot, who has fake orange dreads in her hair in this wicked way...

Anyways, here's odette:

OMG! I love it! I never thought that I could look so cute! Thank you so much! (glomps and saves both pictures to computer)^_^

The character is interesting, I like her. I didn't mind Card Captor Sakura, but I liked Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha (I know, long name @_@),which is only avaliable through fansubs at the moment. It's like Card Captors, but the girl but it has a lot more battle scenes, a bit more character development and the first season is only 13 episodes.

Table Turners is more adult and has a lot of fighting and death. It opens on Odette being attacked in a restaurant where she was eating. Her ennemy is a zombie animated by card number 17 "the death"
I actually did a few pictures for my friend. She wanted to make some sort of Novel like the slayers one (with drawings incorporated inside)and she claims i'm some kind of genius so she wants my drawigs ^^;;; (what? Me?)
I've never heard of Lyrical Nanoha, but my manga knowledge has been going down lately (I've been reading more comics and european comics instead)
I'm glad you like the pictures, I had a lot of fun drawing the hair. When I saw your picture I though "Gorgeous hair to draw! HEEYAH!" I also made you a little icon buddy, though you might be able to make something pretty out of it ^^

Nanoha is only an anime series as far as I know, although, I will admit that the main character does act a bit like Sakura except less absent minded, however I really like Fate. She's sort of Nanoha's rival in the series, except she is more aggrsive then Lee was, plus she's a girl and she has a talking wolf as an assistant. That gets major cool points.^_~
