RETURN OF THE YETI CARPET!

I can't BEGIN to express how tired I seem to be today. Winter seems to be finally getting to me and making me want to hibernate, as per usual. I've been working late all week, making me pretty much slob and fall asleep on the couch as soon as I get home (somewhere between 8 and 10 pm). This week was neither productive or fun and i'm kinda feeling like the grinch.

Oh, snow storm tomorrow. Gah.

I told an anti abortion group to take their signs down yesterday. They had dying fetus images in front of a daycare. I found that in sheer bad taste. It's like protest if you want, but by god, do you need to plop the dying fetuses in front of five year olds? That's what I get for working close to church groups. They ended up taking the signs down after I gave them a few logical reasons.  I found them a lot nicer then a few religious groups I spoken to in the past, which is good. On a personal level, i'm neither for or against abortion, which is mostly why they were willing to hear me out about the signs (they did attempt to convert me in exchange for taking the things down or something). I dunno. I don't think it's either good or bad. It's a very case-by-case scenario thing, considering you can't force a rape victim or a sick person or a woman on whom the guy walked out to have a child. I do however agree that some people are just irresponsable. I any case, if we would ban abortion, black market clinics would rise, which is much worse then having a few choice idiots make idiotic choices. So really, it's all about better jugement.

But just as a note, the dying fetus images don't go well with morning coffee. For some reason the subject of abortion keeps coming back in my life at the moment. I guess it's a pretty actual debate.

Media wise, i'm ALL about FUTURAMA and Something Positive right now.

Also, the INKHEART movie is coming out on January 9th. I'm SO there. The trailer looks amazing. Also, I have a weakness for Brendan Fraser. He's a geeky type of hot. And hum...Oh, why am I justifying myself?

Gosh, I don't even know where to start. In short: Trees have feelings, too! Futurama is awesome! And last but not least, I also like Brendan Fraser a lot!

I agree with you, I think abortion depends on each case. If a person a raped or having a baby could threaten their life then I agree, however I don't like to see people use it just because they don't bother to take the proper precautions. So banning it, is just going to cause more problems. (Also, I don't see the point in protesting it in front of a daycare. Scar the children for life, there's a great idea. @_@ )

I can't wait to see Inkheart. The book was awesome (and I'm hoping I'll get the last in the trilogy for X-mas) so it will be great to see it on the big screen.

Interesting fact about Brendan Fraser, the author admitted that while she wrote the book she pictured him to play Moe (aka the father of the girl in the movie.) So, I was really happy when they announced he was going to be playing Moe.

I'm not against abortion either... As you said rape victims and such, however I know far too many people who had one or two and sometimes three and it really makes me wonder. That's all.

Yeah, like I said, some people are just downright irresponsible. But man, I was hating the pictures of dead fetuses. Extreme ew.

How's the stomach?
