More good stuff happened today though. I got eathstar's x-mas present (I love the drawings! thank you thank you thank you!), I was invited to be a part of a comic book collective publishing (OMG!) and I ate cinnabons in a frightful weather (what? It's totally good news).

Bad news however: I have yet to talk to about a million people. I miss you all! Also, OC transpo is canceling the local bus service because of a strike. Gah. I can now get to Ottawa thanks to the Gatineau bus, but I can't get to my job within Ottawa. My boss said she'd give me a ride. Nice boss I have. Oh, and snow storms? those things suck for electricity and warmth. Need new boots, dammit!

Am I crazy for missing snow? It was 80˚F out today, which is nice for JULY, but December? INSANE. I'm actually looking forward to returning to the north where we have more that hot for weather. (Well, it has been cold here lately, but nowhere near freezing!)

Your boss sounds awesome! That's really frustrating about the bus service. Hopefully whatever they're striking over will be solved quickly.
