Lions and tigers and bears, oh my.

I wanted to do these really cool paintings of wizard of Oz characters, but time is lacking. Maybe i'll do them in june.
I officially decided next drawings i'd do would be on canvas. The big sheets of paper are just a pain. In order to have paper that resists to ink and watercolor, I need really thick paper that doesn't roll easily. It's ok for smaller drawing, but for big ones... They get damaged that way. I still want to do drawings with several layers, but I fear they will start getting smaller. Bigger ones will be with canvas, so maybe I can still give them an outer layer anyways... Basically; thick paper's not that efficient for framing and storing.
I need to do some canvas tests.
Saw my friends fauve & Tama yesterday. It was fun! My hair was crazy that day, so Tama styled it, after it was all flat and glamorous (ooh). Unfortunatly, the weater was a big cold and rainy, so we didn't go for a walk to the marina, but maybe we can organise a picnic later on. It felt good to get away from the drawing table though! Fauve's planning to leave on a trip to a hot leasure destination on june 7th.... Blue oceans and all that! With her fiancé. It's going to be awesome for her!
Today i'm taking my drawings to Arbor gallery for the exhibit in june. I almost feel like a parent watching her kid go to school. My babehs!

Then again, I think most of my clothes now are only for Arizona anyhow. *checks the weather* Okay, these should work! And look, the sunshine is scheduled to come back right when we get there. Perfect timing!
