...Yeppers.
Anywho.
Corrected a bunch of mistakes in some drawings today. Decided to stop before I ended up re-doing everything. I always want to re-do everything. I'm never satisfied with it. Damn.
Here's my latest and favorite: it's called Mirror dust and it's based on snow white and rose red as well as several other sister bonds in fairy tales. I like how the girls look like they are falling to dust...
I'll post the rest when i'll have the patience to tweak a million photographs... I promise to post photos of the exhibit for all who can't go.
Now I just wish I knew how to set my exhibit space. I really don't know how to hang my stupid drawings, or where, or with what. Argh.
It's going to be white walls with duck tape if inspiration doesn't strike soon!
Aside from that I went to Outaouais's University of Quebec to check out the graduates of the comic book/visual arts / design programs they have. I saw the work of one of my friend's boyfriend Stanley. It was so amazing, I had to buy his booklet. I don't want to scan it because that would be anti-copyright, but let's just say that his work is awesome and really, really really reminds me of the Crow comics, but with even better drawings. That alone should give you a decent idea of the coolness of the pages. I wonder if he read the Crow? If not, i'll have to pass it on to him. I got to talk to a few profs too. I made the effort of keeping eye contact and not backing away when people invaded my bubble, which is really hard for me. I'm proud of myself. I got to pass on my blog site to a few people, if they stumble here, welcome and thanks for checking me out! :)
I really want to draw comics now but my muse died... Rawr.
