3D special
Jan. 9th, 2008 07:37 pmHey guys and gals, how have you been since I've last been here?
It's once again been a while since my last update, so I think I was due to do this. This time I bring you more 3D goodness.
Ok, so... I'm not too sure what sparked my interest in starting this little project. But I kind like how it turned out.

IT'S CHISERY!!!!!!!
Hurray for random modeling.
He was pretty easy to do and the final result look pretty decent. I especially like the shape of the wings.
Other than that... Well, I'm not sure if I already told you guys this before, but I started working as a cell phone game tester for Electronic Arts. This started about 4 month from now. It's a pretty cool job. Fairly laid back, low stress, and theres quite a few perks. The moneys not particularily great, though.
I'm trying to pay off some debts I've accumulated from school... I've unfortunately gotta say, Im doing pretty poorly at that.
I'm hoping that I'll be able to use the experience I'm getting at EA as a game tester to help me get an actual 3D job at EA or some other 3D company. The pay of an actual 3D job should allow me to do more that just scratch at the surface of my debt. ( PS: I really, reaheheheally hate being in debt)
Oh, well. Things I'll work themselves out in the end. They always do.
All right, That's it for me.
Bye y'all.

Date: 2008-01-10 04:14 am (UTC)Good luck with the job situation. Testing isn't a grand job, but if it helps get your foot in the door, that has to be good. EA has a pretty good reputation as a game maker as well. (And being in debt is awful. I'll be swimming in it when I graduate as well.)

Date: 2008-01-10 04:31 am (UTC)I just don't know enough about 3D rigging techniques to give Chisery the facial expression he deserves.
As for the testing job. I rather like it. I won't say I actually look forward to work. But I'm not that far. And I now know that this is my key to getting my 3D job.
So I'll be fine.
