Don't deny it! You can all see it!

Anyways...
This year started pretty well. I got to work two days at the bookstore close to my house. They needed help with their inventory. It made me happy to help. Plus I was paid. Isa likes the monaaay.
Aside from that, I pretty much want to spend the rest of my vacation drawing and watching some Bones. I got the box set of the second season for xmas so i've been watching some as I draw. I need to finish up my xmas presents and then a few drawings for contracts. I can't believe I much i'm slacking off on those. Sheesh. And i'm getting paid for them too. I feel shame.
My year started well. On the first I had a random visit from Link who did not tell me he was in town. I was quite surprised and happy about that. Though I spent the day doing the bookstore's inventory, I was glad to come home to a warm boyfriend (the tempature was much too cold. Minus 25!)
My good resolutions this year? I need to finish all the doujins and contract work I started and keep it up to date. I'm the type of person that is super organized at work and at school but at home i'm a real slob/procrastinator. It needs to stop. I want to do a bit of volunteer work in art businesses. I'd also like to make more paintings and sculptures. I swear to make one artpiece per week. That way i'll have a good few for my graduation exhibit. I also want to have really good grades for my grad. I also swear to find a good job in febuary, once my contract with MASC (internship people who hired me!) ends. I also want to spend more time with friends and find a cure for my horrible menstruation sicknesses. Every time I have my period, I faint, vomit, have cramps that can cripple a shark and have mood swings of doom. A few people gave me the names of a few natural medicine things to try. At this point, i'll try anything.
I also swear to stop buying new comic book series and instead buy only the ones from the series I already have. That may seem like a stupid resolution, but I have 20 series on the go right now. That's a whole lot. I can only start a new one if I finish 2.
Last but not least, I vow to learn to walk in heels in a way that doesn't make me look like a drunk giraff and actually buy another pair.
Oh, and update more often. Of course. And maybe even change my banner!
That's all for now. Aside from all that, something funny happened to me during an xmas party. People know me too well....

PS 1) Yes, I know it's my turn on the secondworld still. I will update today or tomorrow.
ps 2 ) FOR PEOPLE GOING TO ANIME NORTH: I have reserved the hotel rooms and purchased my con tickets. So all is ready and good. Link, I have your con ticket too, so don't buy some. I CAN'T BELIEVE WE ARE ALL GOING! YAY happy!

Date: 2008-01-05 03:58 am (UTC)However, if everything goes to plan, we should arrive fairly early on the 23rd, around lunch time, so we should be able to meet in plenty of time before the actual con starts. ^_~

(Not sure what to say about the issues when bleeding for a week. I've never heard of symptoms being so extreme, but I might have to do some reading. I have learned that severe cramping can be a sign the person has a lack of calcium in their diet, but nothing for the rest.)
...anyway, I better get back on track and get to the post office so you can get your earrings! XP Oh...and post, please, please, please! *begs*

Date: 2008-01-04 07:48 pm (UTC)As for the periods, have you seen a doctor about them? I know a few people who have extreme cramps like that. *stares at Stef* Celeste has the same problems as well, and she just usually curls up and hides from the world during those days.

Date: 2008-01-05 01:49 am (UTC)Doctors have given me big pain killers. They work sometimes. But because they are very powerful, I can only take two over 36 hours. So, if the first two don't prevent the sickness from coming down, i'm screwed. One of my mom's friends recommended I check out vitamin B pills. Link's brother's girlfriend reccommended some naturophatic remedies. Both those women had fainting spells and horrible pain like me. So tomorrow i'll hop by in the local natural medecine store and ask them for help. ^^

Date: 2008-01-05 02:46 am (UTC)And now that I'm done bragging, it's actually kind of the other way around these days. "Hey, Jonathan! You should make that...." "I know, I know.. into a comic... What?" Or, "Hey, Jonathan, I drew my idea for a Harmless Free Radicals on the top of your mocha! Isn't that awesome?" Or, "You know what would be funny? . . ."

Date: 2008-01-04 09:44 pm (UTC)Thanks for getting my ticket.
So I'll be the one in charge of directing us, eh? I guess I can do that.
PS : Ratatouille is Awesome. Odly enought people have apperently told Olivier that he looks like the main character in that movie. Who'd a thunk it.

Date: 2008-01-05 04:13 pm (UTC)And if you learn the secret to walking in heels, let me in on it! I love heels since I need all the height I can get, but I can't walk on skinny ones. They're scary, considering I'm already accident prone as it is.
But good luck with everything, including your new year's resolutions!
