Don't deny it! You can all see it!

O8

Anyways...
This year started pretty well. I got to work two days at the bookstore close to my house. They needed help with their inventory. It made me happy to help. Plus I was paid. Isa likes the monaaay.

Aside from that, I pretty much want to spend the rest of my vacation drawing and watching some Bones. I got the box set of the second season for xmas so i've been watching some as I draw. I need to finish up my xmas presents and then a few drawings for contracts. I can't believe I much i'm slacking off on those. Sheesh. And i'm getting paid for them too. I feel shame.

My year started well. On the first I had a random visit from Link who did not tell me he was in town. I was quite surprised and happy about that. Though I spent the day doing the bookstore's inventory, I was glad to come home to a warm boyfriend (the tempature was much too cold. Minus 25!)

My good resolutions this year? I need to finish all the doujins and contract work I started and keep it up to date. I'm the type of person that is super organized at work and at school but at home i'm a real slob/procrastinator. It needs to stop. I want to do a bit of volunteer work in art businesses. I'd also like to make more paintings and sculptures. I swear to make one artpiece per week. That way i'll have a good few for my graduation exhibit. I also want to have really good grades for my grad. I also swear to find a good job in febuary, once my contract with MASC (internship people who hired me!) ends. I also want to spend more time with friends and find a cure for my horrible menstruation sicknesses. Every time I have my period, I faint, vomit, have cramps that can cripple a shark and have mood swings of doom. A few people gave me the names of a few natural medicine things to try. At this point, i'll try anything.

I also swear to stop buying new comic book series and instead buy only the ones from the series I already have. That may seem like a stupid resolution, but I have 20 series on the go right now. That's a whole lot. I can only start a new one if I finish 2.

Last but not least, I vow to learn to walk in heels in a way that doesn't make me look like a drunk giraff and actually buy another pair.

Oh, and update more often. Of course. And maybe even change my banner!

That's all for now. Aside from all that, something funny happened to me during an xmas party. People know me too well....

PS 1) Yes, I know it's my turn on the secondworld still. I will update today or tomorrow.

ps 2 ) FOR PEOPLE GOING TO ANIME NORTH: I have reserved the hotel rooms and purchased my con tickets. So all is ready and good. Link, I have your con ticket too, so don't buy some. I CAN'T BELIEVE WE ARE ALL GOING! YAY happy!

I can totally understand the comic resolution. I'm the say way with novels. For now, I'm going to try to finish all of the novels I haven't read yet before buying new ones. ^_^;

I can't wait for May. It's going to be awesome! ^_^

The thing is; i've read all my comics. I just keep starting series. Especially manga and american comics. I have a lot of european series ongoing, but those come out once every 6 months, so it's no biggie.

And indeed it shall be! I'm hoping you'll be able to stay an extra day, or maybe come on in on the 22nd?

I wish we could, but the thing is, I'm not 100% sure where I'll be working by that time (I'm trying to find a job that is better than the current retail job I have), so I'm not sure how easy it would be to get that many extra days off. It's the same story with Bloodangel and Jon and there's a good chance that Gull will be taking a few courses during that time too and will need to get back to school.

However, if everything goes to plan, we should arrive fairly early on the 23rd, around lunch time, so we should be able to meet in plenty of time before the actual con starts. ^_~

That's true, friday only starts at 6pm. Personnaly, I don't think i'll go to the friday con since it's mostly the masquarade. I think we should all go to sushi instead and return to attack the con on saturday morning bright and early.

That sounds like a good idea.

By the way Cheshire Crossing, finally update with a new issue. ^_^

Now that you mention it, it does look like a stunned face... *ponders* Hopefully it's because it'll be a good year!

Your being tagged by your need to draw real life reminds me of constantly updating my LJ for similar reasons. It's good when people know you well, I think. ^_-

(Not sure what to say about the issues when bleeding for a week. I've never heard of symptoms being so extreme, but I might have to do some reading. I have learned that severe cramping can be a sign the person has a lack of calcium in their diet, but nothing for the rest.)

...anyway, I better get back on track and get to the post office so you can get your earrings! XP Oh...and post, please, please, please! *begs*

Oh, I need to know your current address at school, so I can send you your xmas drawings ^^

I'm going to be really kind and just post it here so you don't have to go digging through piles of e-mail. (Maybe one of these days someone ought to get you an address book. They're really nice! I can't get by without mine.) If I suddenly find myself with more stalkers, I'll know who to blame. ^_-

Speaking of mail, let me know when my X-mas present for you arrives. I sent it to your home address, but I'm hoping it will arrive before you head back to school.

I've been stalking the mailbox, but so far nothing. I'm almost expecting to return to school to find a lot of packages that were forwarded to my Idaho address. Should be fun... I'll keep looking though. I have two mailing days left before I return to school, so here's hoping.

You should also chat more. Why? Because we love you and must smother you with squishes. Besides, you're very effective at chasing the boredom monster away. :) I'm buying my con ticket next week when I get paid. And huzzah for random visit from Link! That was quite sweet of him. :) Now, finish those contracts! *cracks the whip*

As for the periods, have you seen a doctor about them? I know a few people who have extreme cramps like that. *stares at Stef* Celeste has the same problems as well, and she just usually curls up and hides from the world during those days.

Yeah, I was happy to see Link, and technically, I only spent half a day on being girlfriendy. The rest of the time I was working at the bookstore or on my drawings. So that's even better. I was really glad to see him. We usually see each other on new year's, but we never really aim for it. Most of the time it's kinda by chance. This year it was again. Hehe.

Doctors have given me big pain killers. They work sometimes. But because they are very powerful, I can only take two over 36 hours. So, if the first two don't prevent the sickness from coming down, i'm screwed. One of my mom's friends recommended I check out vitamin B pills. Link's brother's girlfriend reccommended some naturophatic remedies. Both those women had fainting spells and horrible pain like me. So tomorrow i'll hop by in the local natural medecine store and ask them for help. ^^

Yup. That very thing happens to me almost exactly three times a day.

A group of cartoonists and the newspaper that publishes my work? Actually, yeah!

And now that I'm done bragging, it's actually kind of the other way around these days. "Hey, Jonathan! You should make that...." "I know, I know.. into a comic... What?" Or, "Hey, Jonathan, I drew my idea for a Harmless Free Radicals on the top of your mocha! Isn't that awesome?" Or, "You know what would be funny? . . ."

You rock and I'm more of a procrastinator than you are. Or I just forget more. You know whatever

Thanks for getting my ticket.
So I'll be the one in charge of directing us, eh? I guess I can do that.

PS : Ratatouille is Awesome. Odly enought people have apperently told Olivier that he looks like the main character in that movie. Who'd a thunk it.

I think Link means the red-haired clutz. But I don't really see it. Olivier is far too cocky and confident.

Yeah, I figure he was referring to Lingini...

Wow, you sound as busy as I do. I should be doing all the things I'm supposed to instead of watching foreign dramas, so I'm a big slacker too!

And if you learn the secret to walking in heels, let me in on it! I love heels since I need all the height I can get, but I can't walk on skinny ones. They're scary, considering I'm already accident prone as it is.

But good luck with everything, including your new year's resolutions!
