At long last: MORE OZ!!!
Oct. 12th, 2007 10:16 pmBut first, bask in Ichiban_Victory's awesomeness....
I just received in the mail an interesting gift from her. Dolls of my original characters. But not any characters!!!

Why yes folks, it's Oz's Chisery!!! So darn cute and everything! Unfortunatly, he's not for me. Diane was ever so incline to even indicate it on the bag to make sure it goes to his rightful owner...Link. You see, In the past, Diane as created dolls of all the characters of the Secondworld game. She then sent all the character to their respective players. I got Renge, my purple-haired, grumpy half-dragon. See as she sits among the works, also created by Diane:

Link plays on the Secondworld, but has no actual character of his own. So Chisery is somewhat is "compensation" since she could not make him a secondworld themed doll. But that's okay, I don't mind giving him the Chisery because I get:

That's right. Mini-Link and Chisery. *squeals* (and for those who wonder, Diane even made a rattail.)
Also in the package there was:

ME! HAHAHA!! With a mini-work. I feel like i'm in that Slayers doll-tower mazoku episode. This doll is apparently also for Link (damn!) but i'm hoping by batting my eyelashes enough, I can keep both XD *laughs* It's a cute set!!! And cuddly!!!! Diane is a madam of talent. I wish I could do dolls, but i'll settle for the comics since you guys seem to like them so much.
These are so marketable. Hey guys, want your own works? Maybe you can ask ichiban_victory. She works for Slayers doujins. Honest. That's how I got her to make me these dolls:

Zel and Mimete, a personal character from another Rpg. Mimete looks a bit like Renge's older sister doesn't she? But mimi is a demon. I'm guessing dragon Renge might like that.
Ah, I have a fetish for purple haired female characters or what?
So anywho, enough with the baskin' On with the OZ!
I wish I could draw more pages before I posted, but that's all I got for now and it's imperative I get down and dirty with my management homework. (aaaargh) as well as a few art projects before the big critique next week (double aaaaaaargh).
The reason I wished I did more was because i'm leaving it a bit loose. What Meg calls Evillink in the last pages ("Pastellite") is relevant to the plot. So is his weird urge to flee. I wish I had time to draw the pages explaining it, but you'll just have to wait and suffer. Mwahahah. Lina also gets to wake up in the next comic batch, just in case you were a huge evilshoe fan. XD
Of course, if you have no idea what this Oz thing is, check the tags under "Oz miniseries" and have fun reading. It's basically the website characters being parodied in Oz. Lot's of fun.
Long live Ozma! ^_^

End note: I'd like to point out that the comment Meg says is plot relevant. What shes says (ref; colored people) is a blatant racist comment directed at the link character. However it is Oz-related-plot-rascism, and towards people colored green or other rainbow colors. DQBunny, from whom the meg character is inspired is NOT in any way a racist. Though good to mention that.

Date: 2007-10-14 03:31 am (UTC)You know what I saw today? You know pins? I saw a craft store where you could buy backs of pins. I feel like sending them to you so you can make work pins because honestly, the mini works are some cute you could wear them! Maybe you should market, make money off it? XD I'm sure there's more then one person who would love wearing chisery (plus, good con merchandise if I manage to assemble my comic in time...)

Date: 2007-10-14 06:00 am (UTC)...and what's this?!? You said you didn't want to do anything, and now you're changing your mind...and going along with my suggestion??? *gasp* Do you know what this means??? ...that you really need to listen to me. (And I have too much fun typing white text on a red backward. It looks cool! Magic letters...) So what's this about pins, eh? If you want a whole slew (lot) of mini works and Chisery, you know who to ask. They barely use up any supplies! *plots*
You really need to stop encouraging me... But hey, I think it might be fun if you do get a table. I know I'd camp out all day long, sketch book in hand. I'm not a huge fan of conventions anyway, aside from the dealer's room.
Okay, anyway, I'm really going to try and get some sleep now... (Ha ha, yeah right!)
