I like strangers in paradise and how Terry Moore depicts caricatural characters like this though. It's a darn good read that series. And now it's over. The final issues actually came out during my last week in Toronto. I decided to re-read all my issues/trades today before and after my work shift. Like in Bone, I love how the artist uses white and black toning. I wish I was better at inking.

Ah. I got my internship approved, so this year, i'm going to go to school, work at tim hortons and be an intern for MASC, a program that organizes activities in schools that have to do with the arts. It seems like fun. It actually seems like i've got my work cut out for me. Apparently, there is lots and lots to do. I,m really motivated by the internship. At the same time I feel I should purchase a gravestone for my social life.

Speaking of gravestones, I also re-watched my Dead like Me dvds a bit. Apparently a movie is coming out soon. I love Rube. I love the fact that his first cinematographic career was as Inigo Montoya. I love the way he talks.

Anyways, Oz updates!!! I had a bit of time to draw. Enjoy.

These panels look a little different. I can't quite put my finger on what makes them so different, but theres something. I think it has to do with that different style that your trying to change in your drawings... And the large lack of sleep that you've been getting lately is probably also related.

Yep. Tv movie though / miniseries. Since the boxsets have sold really well apparently, they decided to do amovie, and if the movie is popular, the series might return.

That comic(the coffee shop one) reminds me of why I'm glad to no longer be working in retail. I hate how people can be assholes just because they're "smarter" than you. Why they don't do that to our drivers, I will never understand.

I,ve had a few people be assholes to me because I worked in the food industry. I honestly don't enjoy it. Different areas of life require different types of smarts. Does studying arts make me stupider then someone studying science? One can be wise, intelligent, smart, litterate or resourceful. Besides. People say that restaurants jobs onlyhave stupid people because they are easy as pie. Yet, a bunch of people always get fired because they can't actually do.

I was a cashier. It was implied that I was dumb, yet I almost got fired because I screamed back at people(and I wrote in my free time, how's that for not dumb?;p) I work at UPS now, and I've heard a few people say disparaging things, but so far I make more than they do, so they can kiss my ass. I don't have the patience to work in a restaurant. Just because someone works at a coffee shop(for example) doesn't mean they're stupid. Maybe they like serving people. I liked my job at the movie theater because I got to meet people and tell them about movies and things, and I wasn't dumb then either.

Ah, the source of headaches for everyone who has worked in the food industry/retail. I always find that most of the time those kind of customers had never worked behind as a cashier and don't realize that it is a hard job.

I have to say, I'm glad that Amelia isn't actually cowardly, like the Lion in the original story. I just didn't think it would fit her and it would seem a bit weird. The first meeting between you and Wicked Link is priceless. ^_~

They're "Filming" the movie Dead Like Me. Should be pretty good.

Here's the Plot Line:

After the departure of Rube Sofer, a new head reaper named Calvin Kane takes over. He's a slick businessman who couldn't care less about helping the newly dead. Chaoes ensues and brings out the worst in Daisy and Mason who begin drinking anew. George and Reggie re-connect for the first time when George reaps a new friend of Reggies.
