My stomach is out to get me... it's a shame considering it's attached to me.

For some reason the stress-related stomach pain as resurfaced. Gah. I need to find an adequate way to deal with this crap.

My intership is pulling to an end. In two weeks i'll be back home in Ottawa. Link is starting to say goodbye to everyone and packing up. The boys are also fixing some holes in the walls caused by the kitty's claws and such. When i'm going back to my home town, Link will move out. He going to Montreal this time, which is considerably closer to Ottawa then Toronto. Toronto is approximatly 5 hours when montreal is about 2 hours, depending on traffic and your ability to speed and not get caught.

As soon as i'm home I need to :
a) Return to work. God I miss that uniform *sarcasm* I wish that job didn't have a uniform. It's a pretty okay place to work at, but the uniform is beyond depressing. They managed to construct a piece of clothing that's unflattering on every existing human body. Who knew the research and developpement area of Tim Hortons was so evil?
b) Prepare Internship number 2. Yes, I have to do a second one. This one is imposed though. So it's in Ottawa
c) Compose the report of this internship.
d) Clean my room that my brother as claimed and probably messed up in my absence.
e) Get more doujinshi stuff done. I left a lot of my material behind.
f) Call everyone I know who keeps sending me odd emais (i'm looking at you, Stephan.)
g) Find photographs for Snapdragon.
h) Start drawing the art echange i'm doing with a fellow art classmate. It's a cool Red riding hood painting, in ink. In return, i'm getting a nice griffin painting. My classmate, named Daphne, can draw animals like there are circles. She's really, really good.

What else? Oh, party for my birthday with the people from home. Wee. XD

Lately i've been watching the 5th season of "Scrubs"...A video store close to here has them for rent, so I decided to go for it. I love Scrubs. I love how it mixes illogical humor and serious situations. Link doesn't really enjoy it that much, but he says he sees how I would like it. It's a humor similar to the one I put into my own work and I love it. So if you're looking for a good series to check out, go for scrubs. 

Funny fact: One of the 5th season's episode is a Wizard of Oz parody. Hehe

Second: I thought that working for Tim Hortons sucked ass. At least, that's what I've heard from a couple people. I suppose it depends on the manager, but... well hey, your uniforms are nicer than what I had to wear at Quiznos! ^^; Or at least they appear nicer. heh.

Tim hortons is okay. Some people are good, some people are bad, and a lot of bullshit circulates, like in most restaurants jobs. It's not worse as any other place. It beats waitressing in my book (god the joy of having a counter between me and the customers...) The hours are flexible since you can work 24/7 and if you stick to your stuff, nobody bothers you, which is what I want mainly.

The uniform appearances does look much better than Quizznos...but Quizznos is made of a material that's not Paper, at the contrary of our uniforms. You know those disposable hospital dresses and scrubs? Same damn material. Cleans really well but feels like crap. No dice.

Hmmmm, well as long as you are/have been finding it good then that's good.

And wtf? Paper? iiiick! We had to wear heavy shirts in hot conditions and smocks that were almost constantly caked with dried food, buuut, ya sounds a bit more comfortable, if not as nice looking.

heh, after the first couple washes my shirt constantly had the "odour" of Quiznos. Clean it all you want, its still gonna smell like meat.

Have you ever checked your symptoms against irritable bowel syndrome (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irritable_bowel_syndrome)? My older sister has it, and it always kicks up when she's really stressed. The best way to deal with it seems to be to find ways to cope with stress, or avoid what stressed you out. Seeing how stress is bad for your body anyway, it's not a bad thing to learn.

Anyway...work uniforms. I don't know, they are very unflattering, but at the same time, there's no way I'd be happy if I got coffee splashed in certain places. (Then there's dreaded chocolate, whipped cream, etc., etc. Oh man, that just asks to be taken the wrong way, so I'm killing the thought there.) Some guys have no trouble still being attracted to girls, no matter how unflattering the work clothing is. ^_^;;

(And you're not helping me stave off wanting to make a Chisery plush! Why must seemingly evil be so cute? I love the shot of pitiful Zelgadis, too. I really wish I read the book. I only have a basic idea of who Ozma is...)

I dunno, i'd have to check out about that syndrome. But I was told before it was stress-related acid reflux or what not. It burns more then it hurts...

I gotta say uniforms are great for getting dirty. I once told my managers how I loved the fact that I could get really dirty and not care. My manager gave me a scowld and said "You're not supposed to get dirty."

I always do anyways. I'm a coffee magnet. I attract hot beverages like there's no freaking tomorrow.

I just wish the uniform was composed of a cotton shirt. I hate the fabric. It's cold, paper-ish and itchy. I also hate the fact that have to tuck it in. I wish it was cotton with a trim so we could let it stick out. I would not care if the color was crap. That's mainly it. I don't care so much for the appearance then the material. I swear I could draw on that uniform. It's got the "sensual" look and feel of paper...

Hell, everyone needs a chisery. Might as well cave XD Work creatures take like...two hours to do neh? XD

I don't know, those wings would add at least another two hours to the labor. ^_- (Joking! I don't know exactly. If I had to handsew them on, maybe less, maybe more...)

I get to wear a cotton shirt, but we're still supposed to tuck them in. I hate tucking shirts, but since we wear aprons it looks really bad to leave them untucked. (None of my coworkers tuck their shirts in, so it looks weird.) I think you ought to protest for more comfortable shirts!

I got diagnosed with Irritable Bowel syndrome about a year ago.

I was really stressed out all the time and I started feeling car sick/bus sick, and my stomach was unsettled in general, among other things. (I thought I was lactose intolerant for a while.)

They gave me these pills that cleared it up fairly quickly, so if it is the same thing, with different symptoms, I highly recommend trying the drugs. Worked wonders for me.
