I finally got the work creature plushiesichiban_victory made! Too bad they arrived after I left Ottawa! My familly was nice enough to open the box and free them though. ^^





Yes, there is a set of black works in there. Like Dark elves, black works have a different personnality. But they still look cool ^^

I haven't updated much. I actually haven't drawn that much either. I seem blocked. I lack ideas and inspiration. I guess you could say i'm in some sort of impass. I'm hoping it will unblock soon. I'm guessing this lack of motivation might by linked to that oh-so-jolly time of the month. I don't know if it's the same for everyone, but I often get the feeling that everything I do is bad and/or rushed during that period. Like i'm generally bad at everything and should really stop trying for the time being. Good thing this only lastes a week. 

I brough a lot of work with me though. Doujins, comics, etc. I just need the right mood to get started!

Aside from that, i've been reading Wicked since I got here. I like it. It's a bit of a strange book though, but then again, you sort of expect something strange when it's about OZ. I'm not sure I like the writting style. But I do enjoy the story.

Alright! I think i'm going to go out for lunch. Then return and keep working on my ethnic media list for work. *sigh* This part is long and somewhat boring. And it's so nice outside. Maybe i'll go read outside later.

Oh. I am the work creature QUEEN!

*giggles* Yes, you are the work creature queen! I'm going through some of the same thing lately where I want to write, and I even have inspiration to do so, but just can't seem to do it. Maybe our newly arrived plotbunnies and work creatures will help us all!

I think we all have moods when we feel we can't write/draw anything good. There are times I feel great about the stuff I write/draw and then there are other times when I feel my work is just bad. I do agree that it does depend on the mood you're in.

You should make "The Work Creature Queen" into an icon or something. It just describes you all too well. XD

Let it be known that I asked you twice, twice, whether I should mail the works to your home or current address. Next time I'm not going to listen to what you say and go with what my gut tells me. (Sure worked for the work creatures, Miss "I don't need nine".) XD

Anyway, I hate when my period hits, because it takes my creativity with it! I really do feel a mental block when trying to do anything, so I usually spend the week reading, watching (Disney animated) movies, stuff like that. Usually once the evil period has passed, the creativity returns. Hopefully yours will, too.

Normally, they would have arrived on time! ^^;; Hence why even if you asked twice, I wanted you to send them back to my house. Also, I didn't really trust having them sent to a place where I might not have been there when they got there that not even, technically, my home.

You need to make more plushies.

I actually saw something today that made a bit of it return! Yeah!

The works are extremely adorable! Do you know how hard it is for me to send them away? ;_; (And I haven't forgotten you, either. I'm still in the process of reclaiming my sewing table, but hopefully soon I'll get back to cranking out some anime-inspired creations.)

The work creatures are quite cute, both Ichiban Victory's sewn ones and those in your drawing. Your Majesty looks adorable, too!

Since I'm menopausal, I don't have a good excuse for my lack. Just intimidated by everybody else's lovely creativity, I guess. But I enjoy everyone's efforts and thank you all for sharing. Yup, life is wonderful!
