AIR GUITAR!!!

On the news today the mentionned there would be an air guitar contest in Montréal.
you know, that dance move where you pretend you're playing a guitar?
Apparently, it's been perfected by people around the world and they have intertional competitions of it.
Why hasen't anyone told me this? It's like...the apogy of cool! The apogy of cool in a really geeky way, i'll admit but...MAN! There's so much stuff I wanna go see in Montréal right now...There's a Disney exhibit too. 

Should'a learned how to drive YEARS ago dammit. Stupid lack of time and permit. It's only two hours away!

In other news, homework goes...well. Slowly but well. I've been typing the same damn essay for two days. Stupid, stupid history of the arts. Stupid, stupid perfectionnist me...

But I promised myself as soon as this was done I would call up the salon and get a haircut. *insert girly squee* I really need one.  AND it's motivating me to do this crap. My hair looks like a mop and it will be fun to have my neck have air again. I'm hesitating between dying it pink, bold red or orange again. Or maybe copper. I like copper. Maybe copper with two bright purple streaks up front! Maybe green! *breathes deeply* I have way too much sugar in my system right now. I've been eating candy for the whole time I was writting today. Now i'm completly unfocused and loving it. I wish I had a cat or a Link to harass. But I guess i'll just go back to writting!

Yesterday I made a cake with my little brother. It was fun and chocolaty and I licked my fingers the whole time.  It was fun. I miss cooking cakes and cookies. It's the only thing I liked doing back at my bakery job.

Oh...I spoke to link the other day and kinda thouh of something funny. You know how usually girls are the ones dragging boys to the dance floor? My couple is this absolute opposite. I hate dancing in public, though I love dancing. I wish I was better at it or something, but then again ridicule never killed anyone before and if I can wear a purple dress with halloween kitties in broad daylight, I can at least TRY to dance in public. Maybe I should go out with Tama and Fauve and shake my squirrel tail. 

Oh well.

Link : You might be a better dancer then me (curse you and your stupid hip movements) but I bet I can air-guitar you into next week. Pttttttbbbbllll.

Oh, I was also wondering what you people would think about me installing somewhere on the journal a progress meter on the doujins for as soon as I pick them up again.

I'm also wondering how many webcomics you people read...I'm up to 15 now. I gained 4 in 3 days! Must...stop...touching...internet....need....to....work.

Back to the oh, so, WUNNNERFUL history of the arts. Wah, I want this essay to die so I can go back to my cooler projects.

Dear Isa,

I just wanted to let you know that I suddenly had a secondlina contengent appear outside of my desk here at the newspaper, demanding sanctuary until you come off of your sugar high. This was until I pointed out that I'm just as silly on sugar as you are - maybe even a tad worse. This produced a palefaced reaction from Renge and Zel, but Anlise is too playing with my Lina plush to be bothered right now. Zel wants to know if we have a toaster in the breakroom. I'm scared...

J'ai vu l'annonce de l'affaire de Disney ce soir, en revenant de travailler... Je vais peut-e^tre y aller, c'est à un coind e rue de mon école quand même!

Pour tes cheveux, tu devrais els faire faire en bronze, aprce que ça reste. Le rouge aussi, d'ailleurs. Le rose devient orange laid, l'orange devient orange laid, le vert c'est le pire de la gang. Tant qu'à payer cher pour se faire teindre els cheveux, aussi bien aller avec quelque chose qui dure! Aussi, ça te va bien alors...

I have heard about the air guitar thing. Reader's Digest ran a short article on such an event a few years back. I had to laugh because the winner was some guy who had Hello Kitty strapped to his chest (it looked like a mask or something), and his remark upon winning was that all those years of taking guitar were wasted since he still can't play, but he could imitate playing really well. ^_- I think you'd have a ball choosing your outfit if you went to that!

Toblerone is deliciousness unto itself. If you're going to get hyper, get hyper on the best! (And baking is fun. I just threw some golden bars together myself. What's better: mixing the dough together -possibly eating some in the process-, or getting to eat the baked goodie after it's come out of the oven?)

I only read two online comics right now, since Fox Trot is now Sundays only. *weeps* But they're Order of the Stick (I blame dqbunny, and Dr. McNinja (earthstar_chan's fault). I used to read quite a few Slayers webcomics, but they either finished, or the author/artist stopped updating.

(Meters mean nothing to me. They can be nice, but when they stay at the same point forever, I wonder if the person forgot to change it, or if they just stopped caring. I liked the teaser pages though!)

At first I thought the cat was doing a backflip! Then I realised that it (don't want to offend since I don't know the gender!) was actually stretching on the ground. I thought a backflip would have been cooler and more representative of being high on sugar though.

Progress meters can be cool but as ichiban_victory said, if it gets stuck and one point, you kind of wonder if that means the end.

Ooh, and I'm glad you picked up FFAF! Did you get Hours or one of the older ones? And you should check my journal for the newest song. The new album should be released sometime in May.

Actually, just as gigabahamut666 I thought the cat was doing a backflip, it reminded me all those "I'm in your ____ ____ your ____" (http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g129/hdragonskull/pccat.jpg), maybe an "I'm on your mind, hyper with your sugar".
Also that air guitar sounds interesting, it may be worth a try. As for the webcomics, I read some of the ones earthstar_chan and dqbunny reads, and some other ones for a total of about 20.
Ah yes, I know about those bored school stuff, and it's eternal battle against the might of the internet... with me usually internet pwnz anything... and then the "holy thunderforce, why did I had to read all that wikipedia entries?".
Anyway, good luck with your hair (what about purple/black or red/silver? eh... that reminds me I know nothing about colors).

I Air Guitar all the time. The song I do it the most? The Darkness' "I Believe In A Thing Called Love". It just calls for it. Try doing it while driving sometime. 'Tis an interesting experience.

I love melting down a toblerone and dunking fruit pieces in it like a fondue and eating it all slowly while tv rots my brain. It's bliss and It makes me feel like a kid again (chocolate face included)

Yeah, I remember all those slayers webcomics dying. I felt the gang needed so air time, hence why I think I made them characters. I don't thing this will die however. Unless I do. But then I compel link to continue my saga. Avenge me!

That cat is called Spice Weasel and it loves getting love so I adore it!!!! It's my 5th boyfriend XD (So far I have Link, my friend's dog, My computer Hermes, Antonio Banderas and that cat!!! *is laughing*)

Do cat's actually backflip? Willingly I mean? They sorta have this feet before butt thing that keeps them from doing that I think. The closest I've seen a cat do to a backflip is one of those i'm-landing-on-my-feet-after-you-dropped-me-from-a-pose-of-doom-supah-save-bitch moves they sometimes do.

I got the hours album. It was on save two for 25$ and I was buying the barenaked Ladies' last album that was also two for 25 so I figured, what the heck?

Sheesh, all of the animals I'm around are female. Well, except Diggs, a friend's dog. But I think he only really adores me because I'll throw his tire. And he likes to lay on my feet while I'm playing D&D. (Everyone else has nice big feet, so why lay on my little feet?) Oh well, I can't wait to go home and be surrounded by the animals again. ...and a Toblerone bar sounds so good now... So they go well with fruit? ^_-

Well, I admit I don't get totally into while driving. I do maintain focus. So it's more like, 30%.

Same applies when I listen to Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" and the head banging part comes up.
