Meme stolen from the
quirkyslayer :
Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird habits/things/little known facts as well as state this rule clearly. At the end you need to choose 10 people to be tagged and list their names. No tagbacks.
No tagbacks. I just felt like drawing it XD

Aside from that, today was rich in exictement (sorta). I spent a bit of time with a friend, Nathalie, and I slept yesterday at my friend Fauve's house. She has a really big cat called Loki who expresses his love for you by killing your socks, stealing your oh-so delicious last pieces of brownie and waking you up an hour before time with intensive purring, licking and rubbing goodness. Feel the luv.
I'm slightly behind on homework. I have a million emails to send out, a few texts to read, some art to create and some money to cash in. So tomorrow is pretty much planned out for me. My friend Tama called me today to ask me to do a shift on saturday, but I had to decline since I'm going to be gone at the gallery mostly of friday and saturday. Yeah! Isa's art on the wall time! I got two free tickets to get in. I think i'll take Fauve as my date or something. Unless Link decides to do 6 hours of rolling just to see me act embarassed in a crowd. *laughs* I don't really like passing out on work shifts, but I really can't this weekend ^^;;; I hope it won't cause a problem.
Man I need to frame stuff tomorrow. I hate framing. I think framing is way up there on the hate list with inking and using rulers.
In other news, Buffy the Vampire Slayer is an awesome show. Now, now, I can feel everybody's eyes rolling in the crowd, but trust me, it rocks. My friend Tama used to hate it and now she's almost a bigger fan then I. I love how this show is almost like a little movie per week. I just watched an episode where Joyce, a character, dies. They did the whole episode without any background music. It's a beautiful episode. The emotion is very present. Joss wedon, the creator, as my outmost respect. Honestly, if you don't know buffy, watch it. It's so worth it, especially around season 5 (total of 7). If you are a geek, you WILL like it ^^ I'm all about slayers I think, either vampire or japanese kind.
Does anybody know of Cibo Matto? It's some japanese band. I like 'em!

Date: 2007-01-24 06:50 am (UTC)I finally started watching Buffy after Stef's wedding and saw the first four episodes. It was enough to make me want to watch more.
*fangirls Bigby with you and thwaps you for #6*

Date: 2007-01-26 04:10 am (UTC)And you should watch more buffy. Heck, If I was closer, I would have put you through all 7 seasons already! They are getting cheaper lately, so if you are looking for a good series to purchase, direct to buffy!

Date: 2007-01-24 12:28 pm (UTC)I wish you luck with your photos and the framing of DOOM!
And Buffy the Vampire Slayer? I've seen a few shows, but I can't seem to find the show on any of my channels...I think they're cursed to deprive me of good TV shows!

Date: 2007-01-26 04:47 am (UTC)................But I didn't tell you that. XD

Date: 2007-01-24 05:32 pm (UTC)Oh yes, and cursive is evil! They made us practice it a lot when I was growing up, but it made me hate it all the more. I prefer my own handwriting, while messy, it's a combination of print and cursive, but without all the stupid fancy 'extra' strokes that seem to exist only to waste ink.
Considering I didn't grow up in a city setting, I'm more aware of my surroundings, but I prefer to avoid cities if I can. I'd much rather take on an angry raccoon than a drunk bum any day... (Steer clear of those uncovered man holes!)

Date: 2007-01-26 04:49 am (UTC)Cursives are evil, evil things. Horray for keyboards.
And I think an angry raccoon would scare me. They always have these evil raccoons in disney live movies...

Date: 2007-01-26 05:01 am (UTC)I've had to chase plenty of raccoons off our deck back when we had cat food out there. They usually only fight back when they're protecting their babies (but the babies are too cute to want to harm anyway). All you have to do is stomp around and make a lot of noise and they'll usually turn tail and leave. I think raccoons are pretty neat, myself. If I ever live out in the woods, I'll be the crazy lady who feeds the wild animals and is friends with most of them. ^_-

Date: 2007-01-24 09:38 pm (UTC)One weird quirk about me is that I'm more confident in my writing than my art. I'm always worrying that my drawing skills aren't as good as my friends say they are, and yet even though writing is just as important to me, I don't worry about writing nearly as much. @_@

Date: 2007-01-26 04:52 am (UTC)I think your drawings are just fine. I'd recommend you try to work on you proportions (those evil things) and your dynamism. There is very good comic and disney art tutorial artbook out there. I love to peek at them: you always learn!
....And this is just me personnally, but the fanart you did of me made me awful happy ^^

Date: 2007-01-26 05:12 pm (UTC)And I do agree that I need to work on proportions and dynamism (as evil as they are ^_~), but at least I can only get better from here.

Date: 2007-01-25 01:09 am (UTC)And yes. The Body was an excellent episode. It's fixing to re-air here in the States soon. I'm hoping to catch it again. I soooo need me the DVD set.

I also love the Buffy bot. For a while I wanted to write this big fanfic of doujin about the adventures of the bot and a potential slayer. Maybe I should pick up that project again.

Date: 2007-01-27 02:39 am (UTC)Ohh, the Buffy-bot. Yes, more opportunities for humor. Joss has a way of sprinkling funny moments in with the drama.
And would you like some salt with your brain?

Date: 2007-01-25 02:30 am (UTC)In my two major stories, there is at least one girlxgirl couple in it, and both end up being together for quite some time. Personally, I can understand it, but FOR me, the sex part would make me feel icky. Well, except regualr kissing and stuff...just the MAJOR sex stuff...Blah.
What do I know? I have no female friends o.O;.
I liked Buffy alot, but I always hated the burning scenes. And near the end, it got rushed and annoying, and the whole WillowxKennedi thing pissed me off to high heaven.

Date: 2007-01-26 04:58 am (UTC)I think Kennedy was a brat. Tara was so much more delicate and nice. A lot of people say Tara was a sucky character but now that i'm watching season 5, I see how involve she was. I like when she picks on Spike when he keeps hitting on buffy.
"How's that cramp of yours Spike?"
"What, huh, it's fine. All better."
"Really? Well, I still think you should put some *Ice* on it"
Beautiful XD
Mjor sex stuff for women only couple might make me a little unconfortable too, but so would watching an heterosexual couple going at it. I always feel i'm intruding on the character's privacy.
Hi! ^__^
Date: 2007-01-25 07:10 pm (UTC)I've been reading your journal for some time because I love your artworks *__*
(I followed a link from one of your "Zel as a stripper" comics, obviously XD)
I'm now a proud shipper of Zel/your toaster, and I remember reading a comic in which Zel is in bed with the toaster and drinks champagne with him/her/it/whatever XDD but I can't find it anymore ;__;
Do you mind if I friend you? ^__^

Welcome to the insanity. Would you mind telling me bit about yourself ^^
Re: Hi! ^__^
Date: 2007-01-26 10:55 am (UTC)I'm 22, I'm italian, I study Computer Science and I've been a Slayers fan since I was 13 ^_^
I'm only a beginner in drawing, so most of my recent fanarts have been 3D arts made with Daz Studio (the free version of Poser)
I'm a member of the Z/A live journal community, so as you can guess I'm a super Z/A fan but I enjoy L/G too.
I also like Harry Potter (but I didn't like the last book...)
As you can see my lj is a bit empty, because I use it just to post to the communities I like ^^ but I'm thinking about filling it with my fandom works
Fan of Buffy
Date: 2007-01-26 05:42 am (UTC)I AM A BIGGER FAN THAN YOU!!
I have all 7 seasons and all 5 seasons of Angel. I have comics. Hell, I have the Angel puppet! :P
Re: Fan of Buffy
Date: 2007-01-26 11:41 am (UTC)Give me time, i'll get there. I've already got half of my buffy's down. You know, I think you are more of a buffy fan, but i'm definitly more of an Angel fan. I think I like the angel series better in a way.
I think I might buy the "season 8" buffy comics though.
Re: Fan of Buffy
Date: 2007-01-27 02:50 pm (UTC)I remind you that I practicaly had to twist your arm into getting the puppet and as for the series, it doesn't count if you are getting them considering the show has been over for more than a year.
