Aside from that, I start school on friday (weird, I know.) and I still haven't written that essay. I woke up rather late today and was a zombie with the flue all day so I decided to make that tomorrow's goal. I got some new pants today though. My old ones were set on the path to destruction by Link's cat and then terminated by me later on (curse you ice patches, curse you!)

Oh man, is Fruits Basket an awesome manga or what? I just finished reading the 19th book!

AKITO IS A GIRL!!!!!??? Did not see that one coming! And she's in love with Shiguré? Holy moly! You know, that manga looks like a stupid girly love triangle story, but it's not. It's worth the read. Heck, for the most part, people could see a Yuki/Tohru/Kyo triangle, but the author really does not base the story on that. Actually, as soon as Tohru is really in love, the triangle disapears. Yuki decides that he sees Tohru more has a mother and starts hitting on this Maki girl. Kyo and Tohru however really have this love thing going on.

Haru and Rin are awesome. And I love Ayamé. Actually, this manga is somewhat like slayers to me. First time I read it (a few years ago) I found it lame and hated a few characters. Now I love everyone. Slayers had the same evolution with me. Man I wanna buy this series or something. I love how the writer inserts little stories about everyone, including secondary characters. That somewhat reminds me of Bleach where the supporting cast has a bigger role then in a lot of manga. Hana and Uo rock. Especially Hana as Cinderella (didn't read that part yet? Trust me, you want to)

Good damn this is good manga. My faith in manga has been revived (It's been stabbed dead lately by things I'd rather repress)

Shiguré is definitly a character hiding something. This is all his big fat master plan. Trying to free everyone, including akito. I kinda feel bad for tohru, being used like that, but I think she needed the soma's as much as they needed her.

Her father and mother were odd people, but I like them ^^

i saw the anime first and loved it. it was so happy. so i started the manga and then after all the happy they all become messed up :) so wonderful.

just wait until you finish it :) ending is awesome.

actually, the scanlations weren't even out that far. so i read partly them and partly translations while looking at the japanese pages...
i was desperate to find out what happened.

Right after I commented I had the afterthought to actually check the definition of changelings. Sounds like they're usually children that are swapped for children from another race (varies on culture), but they can also be shapeshifters. I was thinking more toward the shapeshifter aspect, but ah well.

Werewolves (and all weres) are also something I've always been fascinated with, but in a lot of mythology and even D&D they are always made to be evil. I don't agree with that...

Akito is a girl? I've only read up to volume 13, so that's a surprise to me. Although, that does explain a few things... which reminds me, I really should get around to buying volume 14.

I love so many characters in that series, especially Uotani and Hanajima.

Possibily...(grin) The Last Unicorn was always one of my favorite movies although I should try reading the novel at some point in my life, but I think the reason I wanted to watch it in the first place was because I loved unicorns. So, I think I've always been a lover of unicorns. ^_~
