Fancy and Fluffy

Been feeling a bit tired and sickish again, so I took a bit of time to just draw random stuff. I even bought a new sketchbook for it. One of the random things I decided to draw was all the past and present Avatars from the animated series in fancy outfits. So far, I only managed to do Korra and Yangchen. Korra got two outfits. One is inspired by the 1920's, like most of the clothing on the show. The other is more traditional. The 1920's one wasn't fun enough. The traditional one haas huuuuge poofy shoulder pads. What's not to love?





I'm pretty sure this has been motivated by the fact that i've been re-reading Elinor Jones, a teen comic series about a girl in the Victorian era trying to become a known seamstress for a high-class fashion house.  It's... Full of really nice dresses. Seriously. Check out the artist's deviant art. It's crazy. She also has a webcomic in english. 

I've been wanting to do animated drawings. I need to find a good tutorial for that. Hopefully one with someone who, like me, does most of her doodling offline. 

Tonight is all about drawing and eating cookies.
