Commission for Elfgrove of a happy boy and his pet wolf-spirit. Because pet wolf-spirits are awesome. If I could have a magical pet, it would most likely be a dog. Or a wolf. Honestly, what's not to love? They love you, fight for you, cuddle with you and if they are big enough it's a pretty amazing ride. I remember reading those old Elfquest comics as a kid where the elves rode wolves and thinking "DAMN. There's something I want to do". Screw ponies. 

So, a few people seem to disagree with the changes LJ put up. I haven't really noticed a difference myself. I had a Dreamwidth account made a while back during the attacks here : http://secondlina.dreamwidth.org/

I'll probably double post to LJ and here in the future. But i'm pretty much gonna stay here. Because i'm really not bothered by it.

If you are considering leaving Lj, thanks for letting me know where I can find you. Add me on twitter, Dreamwidth, Deviant art, Tumblr. I am on all those things. I double and triple post on these. I really like the circle of people I met here, and I don't want to loose you guys.

Yeah, I don't really see why everyone is now set on leaving LJ. o_0 Admittingly I haven't done much posting of late, but from what I've seen the new features look fine. *shrugs*

I think part of the reason is that it makes comment threads really hard to navigate, making things such as watch-along posts, memes that depend on a lot of comments, etc. worthless. But, you can work around it by switching LJ styles. Like the style Isa is using keeps everything fine.

As for me, I'm not going anywhere.

Wolves are my favorite animals and I wish I had a wolf-spirit for a pet. Nah, a companion more than a pet.

Shame on LJ for scaring away a friend already. T_T My username is the same on Dreamwidth and I'm still active on Facebook .

I still have subject lines but now I have to get used to the weird icon-picker on the left side of my layout.

You'd need something like a dire wolf (D&D style) if you wanted to ride a wolf or dog, as we're just too plain heavy for dogs and wolves. Heck, unless you're a kid, or a very small adult, you'd be too much for a pony anyway, so you may want to upgrade to a horse. ;)

Seriously though, thanks for reminding me of the short-lived D&D campaign where I played a Druid with a wolf spirit familiar. The concept had so much potential... (But yes, wolf spirits are pretty great.)

The changes haven't affected me much either because I use "view in my style" and customized comments.
