Head and stuff
Sep. 11th, 2011 11:09 pmOkay. for some reason, for the past month, i've had a lot of migraines and nausea. Like, all the time. It just won't stop. I'm thinking it's caused by lack of water, or something. When I was a kid, I had a period of time where I felt like this, so my mom bought a two litre jug and made me drink a full one every day. I think I might try that again. See if it changes anything. Or maybe it's stress? vbgBGHGHSFGSGGSG EXPLAIN BRAIN, EXPLAIN!
On a more positive note, i'm making some extra cash drawing things to put on children's clothing and gorgeous actresses from the 20's called Gabrielle Ray. I lvoe the 20's. I love their clothing.
Aw yeah. Life be good. If any of you guys want a commission, be sure to comment! I'm going to open commissions on Namesake and Deviant art in a week or two. But you guys get first dibs :D

I'm on a giant vampire kick again. I borrowed a ton of good comics about Vampires. Like the "Bestiaire Amoureux" (Bestiary in Love) by Sfar. Gotta love these vampire books. The good ones. I love vampires! I find it funny that Sfar's vampires kinda remind me of Marcelline from Adventure time (the way they kinda hang with mortals, floating around). It's fun!
Also, for those interested, we have more Jabberwocky copies now!

I love looking at pictures of old time actresses. And I wish we as a society could go back to having a standard of female beauty that somewhat resembled real life.
/end feminist soapbox
What will you be charging for commissions? Will there be a set price or will it depend on how complicated the request is?

Date: 2011-09-15 04:24 am (UTC)Depending on the complexity, I usually go for 10$ for a sketch of one or two characters (acting together, or on the same page separately), 25$ for the inked version and 35$ for the colored. I mostly only ask for more if it's got the world's most complex background. I also ask for less if it's one of my own characters (like say, the namesake cast) because it's just fun.
