On another note, woo, LJ is back online! It was offline for a couple of days. It's why I didn't post in a while.

Mood-wise, i'm still grumpy and anti-social. seems I truly am in a bit of a burn-out. Boo. This week, I need to make a list of all the fanexpo stuff I need for the end of August and start building THE ULTIMATE CON MATERIAL BOX. It's kinda like an item chest in Zelda. Maybe I can make it play music when I open it.

Yesterday, I got to watch the new Miyazaki film, arietty the borrower, with subtitles. Obviously, I love it. I have a thing for "mouse world" type of stories, with little people and humans as giants. And this one is just gorgeous and soft and romantic. It's lovely and I can't wait for Disney to release the official English/Japanese big daddy full of extras blue ray. Cause, goddamm! Isa wants her Miyazaki fix.

Oooh, you're right. I didn't notice the earrings, and the boy on the left has the same freckles as Ginny and the twins. So ...

Whence did the doll come? She does look very adorable and unassuming. ;) (Seeing the lace behind her makes me want to speak in archaic English. Forgive me!)

I'll have to keep an eye out for that movie. I always liked stories like that as well, for some reason...probably because I loved The Little cartoon as a kid!

That HP picture is gorgeous! It also reminds me that I need to catch up on the films.

I can't wait for Miyazaki's spin on The Borrowers to come stateside! I also have a thing for "mouse world" stuff (I blame my childhood love of Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers for that).


Awww, that Jabberwocky doll is so cute it almost makes me forget how un-cute it looked by the time the book was over. ^_^

Bloody gorgeous drawing as usual. All the swirls are totally hypnotizing, and I cannot wait to see this colored! I love that (I think) you put all the love pairs together. ^u^ As I'm a sucker for that crap. I figured that had to be Luna with the marshmallow necklace, and I can't believe I only just noticed her turnip earrings which, by the way, I totally need a pair.

That doll is awesome! Did you sew her? Beautiful job, and if she wasn't too much trouble to make, I bet you could do up like a half-dozen to sell at the expo. Bitches love dolls. :) You could even just make up a pattern for people to sew one of their own and sell that on the cheap. People would love it!

I can tell who everyone is except for the guy standing in between Ron and Hermione and Harry and Ginny. That's stumped me.

But it's very beautiful! I love your interpretations of the characters!
