 Hey guys!

Today is provincial holiday in Québec, so i'm taking the day to draw and clean. This weekend, i'm working Saturday and Sunday at the bookstore, so I really need to get next week's Namesake pages inked and ready before midnight tonight! I'm pretty sure I can do it.

Speaking of which, I'm currently working on a cover for a Namesake limited-edition print issue of the prologue and first chapter. Link helped me re-color the pages. :D Me and dqbunny  are printing this to have something Namesake-related to sell at cons, mainly Fanexpo. Here's what the cover looks like : 



Namesake (limited edition) is a 32-page full-color magazine-sized (8.25×10.75) comic with a color cover and black-and-white interior covers. It features:
- A special cover drawn especially for this issue
- Prologue and chapter 1 of Namesake with new coloring by Pascal Michaud and redone text that matches the style of the current webcomic issue
- An entirely new cover for chapter 1
- Three pages of extras

THIS ALMOST LOOKS LEGIT. *laughing* I kid, I kid. You can pre-order one if you want at the Namesake store.

Aside from that... Stuff is gradually improving guys. I feel so much better. There's a lot of stuff happening. I can't talk about it until next week. But I have high hopes. I feel so much more zen and calm and happy. It feels good. I'm getting some rest. I'm biking and drawing. I feel more stable. It's such a good thing. I'm a bit anti-social (aka ignoring phone calls and emails) because I kinda just want to enjoy being alone in my non-chaos brain for a bit. It's really fun. Like someone removed all the stress and put shag carpeting on my cranium walls. Aaaah. :D

My only question/complaint about the cover is how dark it is. I'm not sure how well printing will retain the detail, as it might get lost in too much darkness. (Darn that...tree?) Have you done a test printing to see what it will look like?

Hmm... Things must have gone well the other day. I'll be sure to poke you at a later date when you're not busy being productive, and I'm not needing to dash to work. Enjoy that fuzzy brain. ^_-

Hmm...I just looked it up on a map, and it's about 40-60 minutes from where I live. However, I just realised that it might be too much for me all the same, because when I went to Anime North in the perfection of health, I was still exhausted by the end. I don't think it would be good with my health, unless by then we know what's wrong.

Is there any way we can make arrangements? If not, it's okay. I'll try my best to get to the convention.

If you feel a bit better by then, you could always come by to have fun at the con, it's a really good con. But don't force yourself just to come and get a copy.

If you decide to pay cash, you can just send it to me. If you pay by check though, the check needs to be sent to Meg, since she deals with all the Namesake accounts. But since it's only 5$, it's probably better to do it cash anyways :D I'll be sure to keep you one and send it to you as soon as it's printed this darn strike ends.

Yeeeeah, paying by cheque for eight dollars is a bit of an overkill, lol. Cash is something I can do - and it's so cheap! How can you afford to make it that cheap?

We didn't see ours yet, but I saw a couple of good reviews, so it's promising! :D It's just for a color issue though, not a full book. we haven't found a place we like for the books yet.

And I'm thrilled to hear that Namesake is getting a printed book. Reading it online is great; but you just can't cuddle up with a computer the way you can with a book (plus, books are handy when the internet goes down).
