Whew. Stuff is hard. Everything is busy as heck. I kinda fell really behind for the first time ever on my Namesake pages. I feel a little down about that. It feels like a small failure. But heh, it was bound to happen at least once.

In other news, I ate so much food this weekend. Went to a barbecue to my friend Fauve's house, and then at my mom's... I was overfed. But I got ice cream and kabob, so that rocks. Back at home now, kinda juggling several jobs at the present time. Link and I are slightly puzzled. It seems a part of our clothing has disappeared. He's missing a lot of underwear. I'm missing a couple of my nicer things. We think one of our washes might have gotten forgotten and grabbed. Le sigh. I liked those dresses!

I'm slowly working on some prints for Fanexpo. I'm trying to make a list of awesome ideas. :D I'll post the list up when i'm done composing it. I'm also using a couple of existing prints I have. I don't have much though... I need to finish more art *laughs*

One of the prints I started is this one. WONDERWOMAN... in an "art nouveau/Mucha" style. I love that wonderbooty.

I also finished a couple of commissions last week. Stuff that dragged for... way too long. It's why I never open then officially. I need to make sure I have TIME, otherwise I have trouble filling the orders. This piece was for a guy that really liked the Mario Bros movie from the 80's and my "Humanized Mario Monster" series. It's Princess daisy from the movie and the movie version of yoshi. I had to look up her dress and stuff, but it was fun. It turned out really cute!

Anywho. Gonna go to bed. Got work tomorrow. Got work everyday this week. Urgh.

Remember. No matter what you do, don't stare at Wonder Woman's Eagle. ~_^

OHOHOH.

I see what you did there.

Do I get to be Wonder Woman's namesake? (Just kidding, of course!)

Man, the minute I saw the lower drawing, I just knew it was Princess Daisy and Yoshi. I only ever saw the movie once, and I'll admit it was kind of weird, but no one can deny that Yoshi was adorably pathetic. The drawing really did turn out nice!

(I can't wait until you have time for you-know-what. Seriously. She's invaded my brain for too long, she needs to build a home in yours!)

EDIT: You'll appreciate this. I got the first volume of Castle Waiting in the mail today, and within the free hour I had, I'm already halfway through it. Yeah...something tells me I like it! I'll be sharing it with a local artsy/comic friend as well, so the love shall continue to spread! Thanks for the recommendation!

You-know-who is going to grab my brain in september, for sure. She's already rented a room and everything and plans to stick around for the next year.

Ouch! I feel your pain. I lost one of my favorite dresses last time I moved. :(

On a happier note....I LOVE THAT WONDER WOMAN DRAWING!!! The wonderbooty is indeed glorious and Batman and Superman look adorable, too.
Seriously, let us know when that print is on sale because I WANT ONE!!!

Yeah. Now I kinda want to buy some to replace them, but none seem as cool.

Sweet! I'll be sure to keep one for you!

Where is Wonder Woman's new movie already?!

And I also wouldn't mind a new Super Mario Bros. movie, either!

She has an animated movie that's pretty awesome! I think that's good enough for now.

Guess I should pick that up, but I still desire a live-action version...

I don't :( Not until they can get a talented, female director on it.

I love Mucha's work. I'm a bit sad that he's not very well accepted amongst my art career teachers, but I think his works are beautiful

Really? Same in my school. I think most art teachers consider mucha garbage because it's technically vintage publicity.

Yes, the same here. I once almost had an argument with my painting teacher, she told me he's not an artist mainly because his illustrations were made just for publicity...

But I think his works aren't just for publicity, he has lots of illustration so gorgeous and full of meaning behind.

Heh. it's awkward. I think commercial art still has value. If anything, most greek statues were commissions and stuff.

I can't wait to see that Wonder Woman piece done! That will be AWESOME! o3o As for the lost clothes, I can sympathize. The last time we moved, my husband's $400 suit mysteriously disappeared. I think we may have forgotten it in the closet, and his landlord decided to keep it if/when he found it. =_= We don't know for certain, but I SAW it when we were loading the truck, but not after...

WHAT? That's horrible. Boo on your landlord!

It's funny, I was just about to watch the 2009 Wonder Woman movie when I read this post. She's awesome!
hey, don't feel bad for being busy. falling behind isn't a failure, its happens to everyone.
Hope work is going okay and that you will feel less stressed soon.

OOOOh, the WW Mucha style looks to be awesome! I can't wait to see it!!

I see the underwear thief strikes again. That's why I hate using public laundry rooms. But, if you have no other means...

I'm still wondering why anyone would want our underpants. I mean... It's not classy.

I'm secretly hoping the person who stole our clothes is a huge meanie, that way, he/she can't wear them anyways.

Some people get a twisted thrill out of it. Personally I don't get it. I mean, they're just underwear...

Don't feel too bad about falling a little behind. You've had tons going on, and it's completely understandable to be a little off your game with all you've been doing and the mad hours *hugs*

Aw! Yoshi! XD I remember that movie! Cute Luigi! LOL! :P

Bodacious Wonder booty! I see you looking Clark, and I'm totally telling Lois! LOL! XD

... Dude. I thought I was the only one who remembered that Mario movie from the 80s. I kind of really liked it. *lol*

I remember liking it as a kid. I rewatched it as an adult and cringed in horror. But as a kid, at lot of the visuals really inspired me :D

You know, I bet if I watched it now, after not seeing it for so many years, I'd probably react in the same way. But when I was a kid, I thought it was neat that there was a movie based off the games. And that the guy playing Mario was the guy who played Detective Eddie Valiant in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. *lol*
