All my bags are ready, I have clothing, con stuff, snacks, water, and ipad and a sketchbook. HERE I COME TORONTOOOOOO.

In other news, I started watching Doctor Who. Many of my friends are fans, and have been claiming this is amazing, so I figured I would give it a go. It helps too that itunes was selling the seaons for 12$ a piece online. :D I'm starting on series 1. I kinda watched a few random episodes, see if I like it. So far, I think the most recent team, the one from series 5, will be my favorite. I just love fun-loving characters like them. So here's art of the tardis team. Expect more, better art when I actually understand the story more!

Also, i,m currently cooking supper. first corn on the cob of the season heck yeah. And fries. Getting corn cobs ready reminded me of a story that I decided to tell Link. He laughed a lot following said story. Why? Here's why :

I went to a semi-professional corn-on-the-cob-and-hot-dog event. Now, bear in mind that i'm French, and as such, I forget English words sometimes. At the bar-b-q event, I wanted a cob, but could not recall the name. So I asked for a "corn-penis". Then there was a lot of silence. I then went "Huh.... I.... Huh..... I love corn? But not penises. Wait. Well, maybe."

*more silence*

*Isa exit left*

Bringing the socially awkward bar up a notch for fun. And you guys wonder why I worry about this weekend. *laughs*

Anywho. See you guys in a few.

LOL! XD OMG! That story ftw! =D And yay to con packing and Doctor Who! I'm a David Tennant (10th Doctor) fan myself, but then, I haven't seen the last 2 seasons since Scott moved out and I no longer pay extra for BBC :( Will definitely have to rectify that ASAP! :P Looking forward to Who fanart from you! =D

If it makes you feel better, I embarrassed the hell out of myself when I took high school French. I could read and write it just fine; but I always got self-conscious and screwed up when the time came to give speeches and oral reports in class. I don't think I ever asked my teacher for a "corn-penis", but I can't be 100% sure. LOL

It seems like, about 2 or 3 years ago, tons of Non-British nerds discovered Dr Who all at once! I had never heard of it until my sister suddenly went crazy for it; and then all of a sudden it was EVERYWHERE whenever I went to a con or visited a geek-centric website. O_o

I tried watching it with my sister and the few episodes I saw didn't really "wow" me. And I don't know if I want to jump into a show with 30+ years of continuity to wade through.

Random Who fan popping in, here.

There's a split in the show between "Classic" Who, which ran from the beginning to recently in the past before it was canceled, and "New" Who, when the writers picked it up again a few years ago. New Who only has sixish years and five complete seasons to its name so far; the writers have been pretty careful not to make its almost-50-years of continuity necessary for enjoyment of the show.

(In fact, it's to the point where Classic fans rejoice when a reference to the old stuff is thrown in.)

Just wanted to clear up the idea of having to wade through Who stuff, haha. I'M WEARING MY OBNOXIOUS NERD PANTS TODAY
