Oh, yeah, I actually woke up this morning just like that. It was a really cool dream and it stopped literally in mid-sentence. I don't know if the character was going to tell me I smelled, or that he loved me, or the meaning of life,  but it sure bugged me all day. 

F*ck you, brain. 

You too alarm.

You guys are working together, aren't you?

Well, maybe tonight i'll get the sequel.

Oh yeah, I've had a couple of dreams like that where I suddenly wake up in the middle just as something interesting/important was about to happen. But sometimes that also happens with weird, creepy dreams and I'm glad that I woke up sooner than later for those. >_>

AAARGH! That happened to me a few days ago! It was a pretty epic dream too, lots of characters involved, and just when it was coming to some sort of resolution, I woke up for no reason at all! The next night I actually tried really hard to finish the dream, and it sort of worked...it was mainly loose dreaming involving what I wanted to happen, so I never did find out what was supposed to happen.

Silly dreams aside, if the dream had a message you really need to know, it will come back to you. Perhaps not from such a handsome source the next time, unfortunately. ;)

I don't know about you, but if I go beyond a certain emotional level in a dream (being too upset, happy, scared, etc.) I automatically wake up. No alarm clock needed - not sure which is worse, but both can be seriously annoying.
(Or, well, good, if you're having a nightmare...)

Hahaha, at least those dreams have *substance.* I usually end up dreaming about hanging out with movie or TV characters. In really stupid situations. I should find my latest dream log again.

But those dreams are always fun, it makes you wonder what your subconscious wanted to tell you. Ever had the dreams where the alarm clock manipulates what's going on? For example one time it turned out that the Aerosmith song "Dude looks like a lady" had just the right frequency to make zombies heads explode... It was disturbing as it was amusing.
