Wow. You just gave me flashbacks to my dorm days! I'm the same way when it comes to little annoyances. When they pile on, it can really mess with your head.
Laundry Bitches are the worst! Back when I had to use the dorm laundromat, I had to camp out in the laundry room with my DS or a book and guard my clothes like a hawk because of them!
At least your bad day inspired some great therapeutic art. The bird people are my favorite.
