I'm really amused by lame expressions and puns. And fun cartoon sounds. Onomatopoeia are FUN.

I decided to encourage myself by building a list of things I need to get done in the next few months. Mainly : get new glasses, go to the dentist, go to the bank to open a savings account, get a wii, get my comic "Psychopompes" done, get my ears pierced again (they closed after I removed the earing due to an infection). I also starting trying to plan to do excercise at least every Sunday. Move a bit. Build up that body. I wanted to buy new ice skates. There's a rink close to our home and I honestly love skating. It's a great sport. I think it may run in the family a bit - one of my cousins used to be quite the speed skater. Won competitions and everything. I also want to start painting again, maybe do some exhibits once more. I just need to find a few good ideas for paintings, build a portfolio and start courting galleries again.

I want to have projects. And achieve them. Namesake is a project, and it's well under way (that reminds me - COUNTDOWN - 6 days to namesake!). I want to make life interesting. Be busy, have friends, spend time with friends online and offline. One of my ultimate goals is to be able to have a part time job and work on my comics the rest of the time. And if I work hard enough, I know i'll get there.

Really, I need motivation. And making lists seems to motivate me. There's something really attractive about making a list and crossing stuff off it. Satisfaction. :D

As a short term goal, I want to go eat M&Ms. Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] dqbunny , for putting that on my brain.

Oh, I do that too! I add tasks to a list when I know i'll do it soon just to get to cross it off. *laughs* It's encouraging!

Heh, i've been talking your (and everybody else's) ear off for Namesake, so don't apologize if you feel repetitive. I'm the queen of repetitive.

Awesome

Possom!

Haha. I can luckily say I don't have pun issues, but I have a bit of an issue with that word period. For example, I just started a new job, and I say it to my customers ALL the time. It's rather annoying to listen to myself. Haha...

You're welcome. Meanwhile, I got a bunch of super dark Lindt's truffles at the grocery store yesterday. I get one a day! Just one ...

PUNS ARE AWESOME.

You can just pretend you are from a cheesy children's show!

Life's not worth living without puns and play on words, in my opinion. I do try to stay away from the really awful puns, but adore those that can go unnoticed until thought about some. ^_-

(Here's one my FHE brother loved to use: "Lets make like a baby and head out.")

My co-workers like to make fun of me because I have an odd vocabulary, too. I have a habit of over-using the terms "okie dokie" and "jinkies" (and some customers think I have a Wisconsin or Minnesota accent because, apparently, Californians don't say "okie dokie" anymore).

Adopting punny words and lame expressions is also how I got over my previous bad swearing habit. It's more fun to place a silly pun or expression in place of an f-bomb. XD

YAY for Namesake! I can't wait!

Puns make the world go round. ^_^

I've been having to make a few lists myself lately. There are so many things I need to get done. It's good to have a place where you write them all down. ^_^

Mmm... lists. It is a nice feeling to scratch of 'to dos' from a list, but it gets depressing when the list sits unfinished for too long :/ (It reminds me that I owe a lot of art/fics to friends) I'm hoping to get out of this funk I've been in for too long. Your motivation is inspiring ;)
