Just a little "How to train your dragon" fanart to end the week on a high note. Ruffnut and Tuffnut, aka them twins. Ruff is a bit girlier then I wanted her to be, but I love the inking, so i'm just going with it.

I moved stuff today. My workplace was moving from one office to another bigger and better office in the same building, but we still had to move stuff for most of the day. I ending up doing my actual job from like 3 to 5 pm. I left pretty tired. And glad to be going home.

Tomorrow, my extended family is visiting me. It's pretty rare. Back when I was a kid, I saw my extended family about 5 times per year because they lived so far. I don't have a really close relationship with them, but i'm still happy they are visiting.

And free time will obviously be dedicated to drawing Namesake paaaages. I'm having way to much fun drawing these.

I finished reading Castle Waiting yesterday. OMG. That comic. It's crazy. It reminds me of the epic that is BONE. Because of the black and white art and the incredible backgrounds and expressions. The whole thing is a huge fairy tale mockery bonanza. I love it. I really should thank my friend Sandra for lending it to me. We keep leading comics to each other. Been a while since I spoke to her though. I almost feel like I should make a list to make sure I keep track of people. Ack.

Busy life, heh?

I know what it feels like to not be close with family. My aunts and uncles on my mothers side hardly know me at all and visaversa, but the sad part is that they only live like a 1 hour drive away. Stupid fathers and their hating personalities. I was lucky to see them 1 time every couple of years. But of course, now that he is gone, I'm leaving the area. Haha, at least I get to see them tomorrow too. :D

I KNOW IT IS! I burrowed the first book from a friend and then promptly decided to by the first and second graphic novel. tsk.

I've got a pretty good relationship with my cousins too, even though we don't talk much.

I love the inking too! Their hair especially!

Most of my extended family lives Wales and they stop by Grandma's like once every 5 years or so. I barely know anything about them, except that they have accents, lol.

Thank you!

Yeah, some people are close to their family. Others aren't that much do to distance. Your case sounds even more detached then my own. But then again, you don't really miss what you don't really have heh?

It can become a job trying to keep up with friends :/ I hate the scheduling bit where you feel you have to "slot" everyone just to spend time with some of your friends some of the time, and it still never feels like enough.

As for Ruff, I like her a little more girly. I imagine as she got older she would change in that way to differentiate the two :) Very nice work my sweet ;)

I finished your Hawk Girl piece! =D I need to scan and post it (things are a bit hectic so it might not be for a day or so since I'm at Jason's and we just moved all his crap out of his apt... all we have is a pallet of blankets *eye brow wiggle* comics, and internet connection :P)

Uuurgh. Yeah, I do that scheduling thing myself to make sure I see everyone at least once every two weeks. It's a little weird. Like a roster.

She might get girlier with time, at least during the period of time where she might want boys.

OOOOH HAWKY! THANKIES!

Oh I only have the first issue of Castle Waiting. I really liked how slow it was and the fact that it had a huuuge cast. I could see that the author had a really well-planned and ambitious story in mind.
