We have the weirdest conversations while we are brushing our teeth ad getting ready for bed. This is one of them. Most of the time, it's my fault. I have faulty logic when i'm sleepy.

Aside from that OH GOD I'M FINALLY HOME. Bed. Beeeeed. I love you confortable bed. And food. Omnomnom. I really am turning into a hermit. I yearn for my apartment after a single full day away. But my apartment is really nice. Aside from the apparently leaky ceiling. What is wrong with you ceiling? Just don't leak on my drawings man. It leaked all over the carpet. and now the carpet is mighty stinky. It smells like copper.

I finally backed up all my computer files. Drawings and music. Two very essential things. Before, I used to draw and color everything by hand. Nowadays, I use Photoshop a lot more. I think making backups is going to become more and more important.

Anybody else finds that covers to Nicolas Sparks movies all look the same? Are they any good? I,m not much of a chick flick person. But i,m amused by this.

Dun dun dun.. Isa has sex on the brain. I sure know I'm not at all responsible for such...canoodling? :D Okay, so I found the irony of this comic after general things earlier today rather amusing. (And I had never even heard of canoodling or knew it was a real word until...about a minute ago when I looked it up. I am being educated!)

Photoshop is great for speeding up the coloring process, but all those large digital files eventually take up so much space! I need to be better about backing up my stuff as well. It's going to be a really dark day should the external hard drive ever kick the bucket! At least it frees up real space in one's home environment.

That's really gross about the leak-caused stink. You all really ought to have that taken care of before the summer is over and rainier times hit. Else it's going to be soggy!

Apparently canoodling can also mean eating noodles in a canoo. Weird.

But, no, this conversation actually occurred yesterday, but it's a nice coincidence. I drew it to post it today XD

I,m thinking of getting a better portable drive. I got mine a few years ago when my attitude was "meh, I have nothing to backup". I probably should find a good place to store it in case of thieves (right next to the computer is not a good place).

It's not an outside leak though, since there's a floor on top of us. It's in our kitchen and bathroom, and since the neighbor's kitchen and bathroom are in the same spots...

Hmm... Somehow I think eating noodles in a canoe is more dangerous! And a boring definition...

They make some super tiny portable drives now. Heck, you can even use your dinky iPod for such things if you really want to, but it would fill up pretty fast. Maybe you ought to dress up your drive as something that looks too dull or boring to be worth stealing. Like, a potted plant, a rock...something like that. Hmm...I wonder if such things yet exist?

A leak is a leak. I had a roommate that said the same as you when our ceiling took on water. I made her contact our manager anyway, and we ended up stopping a major leak from destroying more of the ceiling than it did. Don't let yourself suffer from what [livejournal.com profile] ameban has just because it's not an outside leak. Besides, mold from leaking pipes kills..or can make you go completely bald all over your entire body as I recently learned it did to an old schoolmate. DON'T LET THAT HAPPEN! XO

Completely and utterly. As she tells it, an apartment she lived in had black mold grow in it, which made her immune system go haywire. The good news is that she survived. The bad news is that, in reaction to the mold, she lost every single strand of hair on her body. No hair on her head, legs, armpits... Not even in her nose or ear canals. And she has no idea if her hair will ever grow back.

Yeah, I'm now definitely agreeing with you. Get the leak checked, Isa!

EEEGADS. I hope she sued them. I know a lot of people do useless lawsuits but in this case it might be justified.

"I got a fork in my eye! Oh, I should have known eating ramen while going down the rapids was a bad idea!"

I saw one shaped like a skull once. It was next to stapler shaped like a dragon. I totally wanted those two things.

I'm go tell our janitor, simply because the copper smell kills me. So smelly urgh.

You two are cute :P It's cool you've been dating for 8 years :) The paper isn't really necessary :P

As for being a hermit, well, when you work so hard all day and only want to come back home to all the fun stuff like Link, your art table, music, and of course food and comfy bed! Who wouldn't want to spend more time there? ;) As for the leaky ceiling, boo! Hope that doesn't become a real issue further down the road :/

Technically, we've been dating for 7, but we met 8 years ago. Hey, we only spent a year as friends XD

I think lately i'm in a phase where I want to relish in my books, and do nothing but drawing. Being home is truly awesome.

*laugh* I think I've had the exact same conversation with Mike at some point. Except different allergies. Band-aid glue?

I understand turning into a hermit. I like exploring, but my home is becoming a little nest and I like to curl up in it with books and kitties and writing. You have a good apartment/house when it feels like a nest.

Yes. Band-aid glue. Technically, i'm allergic to Aloe, which is in several skin products and band-aid glue. But we discovered the allergy thanks to a baid-aid. So instead of Aloe, we say "band-aid glue"

Since people like to put Aloe in everything, I don't have a lot of soaps I can buy.

ooooh. Nesting. I like the idea of curling up in a ball like that.

You know you have a good home, when you're happy to go back to it. ^_~ Too bad about the leak though, definably a good idea to have it check.

I often feel like Stu and I are an old married couple too. Isn't funny how that can happen when you're not married yet? XP

I never read Nicolas Sparks, but just seeing the trailers for the movie versions of his books makes me think they're too mushy for my tastes.

My apartment is awesome. And you can totally back that up XD

Those movies look super mushy. That's why I haven't watched one yet. I think the last chick flick I saw was 27 dresses. That one was pretty fun because it was basically two deadpan snarkers falling in love. And I rewatched "Ever After". I loved that movie as a teenager. Historic reconstruction of cinderella? Yes please! I rewatch it now and notice how cheesy and innacurate it is, but screw it. Da Vinci is in there.

27 Dresses is cute. I don't mind watching a good chick flick, the last one I saw was When In Rome which was good, not a deep plot, but good. It's when movies get over dramatic and romantic that make me reluctant to see it.

I believe the proper expression is "So sweet it hurts my teeth." @_@

I am aware of this.

Speaking of which, we were doing laundry and found a black tank-top that belongs to neither of us. Has Link noticed one missing? (Does he care?)

It's probably his. I leave all my clothes in the room but he leaves his all over the place. So you probably picked it up by accident. Considering they all look the same, he probably didn't notice. Bah. It will teach him to pick up his stuff. You can probably just toss it.

Fear our sexy, sexy conversations.

Me neither. All is stories look the same. And kinda look anti-feminist too.
