Things, things and more things

secondlina Well, I'm FINALLY doing better. i'll still probably take it easy. But it feels good to have my stomach eating and feeling normally again.
I spend a good part of the week watching my Daria boxset. You notice a few things when you watch the series in one big row. Daria is a lot more emotional and human then I remember. You feel the "teenage" side of her a bit more. She also has incredibly disturbing nightmares once every two episodes. *laughs*
I signed up to the Schoop Bingo, to motivate me to do a bit more fanart, so I have stuff to bring with me at the cons. You can sign up too. It's ike a themes challenge, but a bit more random and competitive. You pretty much only compete with yourself, but it's still fun XD. A few other artists on my f-list are hopping on that too, so I can't wait to see what people come up with.

I though of a few funny comic ideas, but do to my mood this week, I didn't really draw any. I finished a bit of contract work and drawings for exchanges. I think I felt like doing bigger, easier drawings this week. To relax.
I finished my part of this exchange with angelchan_2004. These are original characters of hers. One's a prince and the othe ra demon. I can respect that.
Aside from that, i'm really into the myth of Cupid and Psyche right now (and the fairy tale inspired by their myth, "east of the Moon, West of the Sun". I think I would LOVE to make a comic series based on their story. Hahahaha, maybe that will be my next long idea after namesake. I'm a little strange. I either make up long series or one-book stories. I never seem to stay in the middle. But I guess that's my love for the epic and short stories talking.
My friend Fauve is visiting me to go to a pic-nic with a few friends. Today is pic-nic day!!!!! :D
