Not a euphemism. Seriously.

I found this: http://www.fanhistory.com/wiki/Secondlina

WEIRD.

Packing is going well. I own too many things. Bleh.

Wow, I don't know whether you should feel honored or frightened that someone took the time to write up a bio on you. (Mine is very basic.) That site is apparently not a good place to be on, from what I can tell from other peoples' reactions to it. Whoever wrote it stuck their opinion in as well. I'd never say your comics were Mary Sue-ish or not funny. :P Got to love how they failed to notice you also use French on your Live Journal.

Just wait, after you get all that packing done, then you have to find places to unpack it all!

Yeah, the bio says 'She's mary sue at first, then funny!' Maybe I should change it or something...

Gah, weird.

I would say just ignore it, it's not worth worrying over. I've been there before, there's also a page for both me and Megs, but very basic like Diane's. I think you can find just about any fanfic writer or a active fan on an lj community. You're just happened to get edited by someone.

On that note, I've never thought your comics were Mary-sueish.

Whoever wrote it obviously doesn't understand what artistic license is all about. If I were to insert myself into the Slayers world, for instance, yeah, I may be in danger of being a Mary Sue, but if I'm having a mental conversation with characters from the Slayers world...well, some may say that's crazy, but I say that's what the creative process is all about. ;)

I do have to wonder who wrote it though.

I'm jealous. I've never heard of it, but I'm not in there and that makes me a little jealous!

I guess there's something for everything.

Don't be, it's not something you want to be included in. Unless you want to encourage stalkers...

whoa. I'm speechless. 1) the (let's say it a girl) person who wrote that on you must have been PMSing.
2)Way weird. I'm on the site too. Apparently someone put me up on it way back when I had done nothing on any fandoms (I just started writing fics recently). Someone must have a strange kink: put pages up on big nobodies. At least you deserve a page (even if you deserved better commentaries).

Oh is that what that is?

Like real stalkers or "stalkers?"

I do have an ff.net profile that's on there apparently.

O.o

Ok, ya, that bio is seriously weird as well as extremely inaccurate.

I'm kinda amused to find that I'm on there too, only it's just a direct import of my ff.net stuff which is um, neglected to say the least. XD Actually, I'm glad they haven't found my LJ. Er.. even though there's a link to my fic journal on ffnet.

Apparently the site is a lure to get hapless people to put their information in. I'm in there (twice apparently, since they haven't associated my ff.net account with my LJ account) but I never did it myself. Someone apparently has way too much time on their hands..

A stalker is a stalker, in my opinion. Having had too many internet stalkers myself, I'd not wish them on anyone, or encourage anyone to take part in sites like this. Internet stalkers can all too easily become real life stalkers if they find out where you live. :P

That makes a lot of sense, actually, although I don't know why I anyone would willingly put it in. I googled myself and I am freaked out by how many journals I can find that I've posted on.

I guess you're right, a stalker is a stalker.

...there is only a page based on my ff.net profile, and it's outdated.

That's how you know you've made it. Fans write about you =D

Eek, that is kind of creepy. It's unnerving to think someone can just create a profile about anyone they want and write anything without the person in question ever knowing. That's not right at all. :/

Her earlier posts come off as slightly Mary-Sue-ish (she is a very friendly terms with Lina Inverse). However, the artist learns fast how to create crossovers that do include herself without being an annoyance.
Uhm...WHOA? What's wrong with posting on your live journal something that is about..*gasp*..YOU? XDDD

I looked up myself and saw it isn't necessarily a person initially making the entries. It's automated bot, FanFictionNet.bot, which harvested our information from ff.net. Hence the very brief entries people have mentioned. If there is a detailed entry like that for secondlina, it's because a person has edited the initial automatically harvested entry. It's still creepy.

That is pretty creepy. And you'd think that, if this person was inclined to write about you, they'd at least know that you speak/write English AND French.

And the Mary Sue complaint is just stupid. Writing an occasional self-insert goof comic isn't the same as inserting yourself into a melodramatic fanfic where you cure Zelgadis and win his love or whatever.
