Goodbye!!!! a fan's lament.

So, the final episode of Slayers Evolution played. As per usual, we watched as a group sharing comments (often sounding like BIG BADABOOM!) considering that the last episode was full of EPIC. It was fun. And we all kinda hope there will be more, but if there isn't, it's been at least really cool to see them hang around for a little while longer. Though honestly, Rezo? Die man. And don't come back this time. In any shape or form. 

I tried drawing Lina to underline the epic, but she wasn't cooperating.



Goodbye lina, it's been real.

I spent the week being sick with a fever. I did nothing but go to work and sleep when I got home. Really. I mean, no drawings, no cleaning. Just sleeping or watching movies if I felt like it. This week felt like a giant waste. I might have gotten better faster if I could have taken a day off. Being a contract-ee, I don't really get any. So the sickness dragged on. But now it's gone. So hopefully, this week is going to be a little more on the productive side!

It really has been an enjoyable time seeing the crew again. I would love to see more Slayers animated, but if it doesn't happen I won't cry too much. There are always fanfics to be appeased... (Not to mention, Secondworld to distract us!)

Fanfics and fanarts...hopefullyt he hype from the new series will at least make the fan community super alive for a year, minimum.

(cricket is free now. But he seemed hesitant to leave the sharpener. My neihbor saw me and laughed because I went all the way down to free a cricket.)

Oh, I bet the fandom in Japan will be stirred up for quite a while yet. I know I'll always have reason to talk about it, so if you're really suffering from a lack of it, just poke me. ^_-

I'm glad you're finally over your illness. Dragging yourself to work when you feel like crap is no fun at all.

Now I'm wondering which fangirls and fanboys are stalking Gourry, Zel, Amelia, and Xellos. ;)


Hopefully Slayers made a decent profit in Japan and the studio will be inclined to milk the franchise for all its worth (new season(s), action figures, artbooks, video games, etc).

I think Slayers is just one of those anime series that will always hang around (like FMA, Luping III). So, I'm sure this isn't the last we see of the Slayers gang in animated form. At least, that's what I think. ^_~
