Bah, in all honesty, i'd like to say I party with the Irish, but I went to see my parents like a good girl tonight and did my taxes.

I had to do my taxes with my father because for half of 2008 I was still a student and dependent on his insurance and such. Turns out, because I was a student for half of 2008 but payed a nice bit of taxes for the other half, i'm getting everything I paid in taxes (about 1500$) back. Apparently, the total sum of what I made as money for 2008 puts me WAY under the poverty line... so yay I guess. Next year, I'll most likely have to pay the government, but at least this year i'm gonna have it easy.

These drawings kinda suck. My hand is shaky. I still have the stomach flue. All I eat is soup. Urgh. Die.

Working on comic stuff though. Such pretty  drawings *_* I can wait to see my drawings bound and printed as an actual book.

Fun stuff. My (Canadian) roommate today told me that if she caught me not wearing green, she would pinch me. I in turn told her that if she did, I would punch her. Aren't I the loving one? (But I do have ancestors from Ireland, apparently. It's small but there.)

I still need to file my taxes... I'd love to get back that much in taxes, but I only ever seem to get back $300. Whee. (Now hurry up and kick that stomach flu in the rear!)

I wore a green shirt, plus I have Irish blood from my dad's side, but no drinking for me (I don't care for drinking myself silly much) so I'm all set. ^_~

You probably only get 300$ because you don't pay that much in taxes as a part-timer (aka don't work during the school year). I only get so much back because I worked as a full timer with a pretty okay salary for 5 months. :)

Ah, sorry... I was going to bed anyways. Maybe next time :)

You forget, I was a full-timer back in the day! ^_- Even when I had a decent salary working in Seattle, I never get back that much in taxes. (I think Washington just liked to hoard taxes. I would talk to students here in Idaho who would make less than I did in a year, and they would get back so much more in taxes!)

I didn't have any green to wear either, so I made do with a piece of green ribbon pinned to my lapel. Only when I came home did I remember I have green Mardi Gras beads I could've worn instead. Yay me.
