Not just right...

Hey group, how is it going?
I'm doing generally okay. I just finished drawing and documenting my stuff for my september exhibit (all NINE drawings) which I will most likely post here tomorrow.
For now, I'm mostly just thinking about moving to Ottawa versus Montréal. These last few days, the situation as changed. I got jobs offered to me in Ottawa. Jobs in my domain. I'm considering staying for a year to do those. In montréal however, I have found a really good agency and a potential roomie. Not knowing what to answer I told my roomie to start finding someone else, because i'm confused as hell at best. So it's truly career versus pleasure or something going down here. I,m meeting with the job people tomorrow and I guess i'll have my answer there. I really feel like a deer in the headlights right now though and I wish future-Isa could come over here and tell me, 2008-Isa what to do. Gah.
I think whether I choose Ottawa or Montréal for this first year of me, entering the professionnal world, I should be pretty ok. I just need to choose and stuff. Like I said, Tomorrow night, I should know.
Man I can't wait to know so I can stop a) looking for work and b) being stressed and confused.
Curse you crossroads.

Date: 2008-08-14 05:36 am (UTC)Seriously, life decisions are never fun, never easy, and oftentimes take FOREVER to let you know whether the decision you made was right or not. Weighing options is only so fun.
Much luck getting to tomorrow evening with your sanity intact.

Date: 2008-08-15 03:30 am (UTC)Wow. That is definitely a dilemma. I hope you'll be able to come to a decision soon. I guess you need to decide what the pros and cons for either one would be.
Good luck!

Date: 2008-08-22 01:18 am (UTC)It was nice to see people from Ottawa U and to see Annie again, too.
Right now I'm writing my thesis and planning a wedding, and teaching art at the Nepean Visual Art Centre. It's pretty good. Good luck on finding an apartment, eh!
