 I still hate packing.
I don't know why I TRY to fit stuff in smaller suitcases. With my labtop and portfolio, I can only use my big rolling one. Plus, you know... ROLLING. That much less effort. Man, i'm hopeless.

I always try to look like I don't have that much stuff with me, but you know what? I over pack. I really, really do. AND I'M EMBRASSING IT! I'M A GIRL DAMMIT! WITH GIRL PARTS AND FAT SUITCASES.

....................................................................................Dammit.

LOL!! Garlic can smell pleasant... in small doses.

Packing again? Where are we traveling to this time?

And I tend to over pack too. I need to learn to consolidate.

I have a bad habit of packing too much too. For Toronto, I tried REALLY hard to pack light.

*falls over giggling* I had the exact same problem when I first began using garlic.

*pokes* You are a girl, yes you are. Just think of yourself as geek girl. You have laptop and portfolio and I'm sure you shoved a few books in there...

Interesting... I just looked up clove in the dictionary, and it's past tense for cleave. So that's why you use just a small bit of garlic, cleaved garlic, as it were. Now I pine for garlicy goodness, like spaghetti sauce, or French bread with butter and garlic spread on it...

(I'm still mastering the English language as well, apparently.)

As for packing, make sure you pack it so it's easy to carry. I'm still recovering from that muscle I pulled when I came back from Toronto, and it's not been fun at all. (Laughing is supposed to relieve pain, not make it worse!) And just remember what I always forget: you'll not use half of what you pack anyway. XP

[Giggle at garlic] When we were first married, my husband read "Add garlic to taste" when making hummus (Middle Estern chickpea spread) for a party. With his allergies and stuffy nose, this was a recipe for disaster. Nine cloves went into the stuff, which was then covered with aluminum foil and stuck in the 'fridge. Hours later, when the foil was removed... Yeow!
Tasted good, though strong. Everybody either liked it or ate it out of defense. The apartment did reek.

Nothing like motorcycle trips for being forced to pack only what will fit in a saddle bag. Years of riding behind my husband taught me that packing skill. For professional conferences, I still may pack somewhat like a girl, though more lightly than some of my colleagues. I just don't like to check my luggage. Now with airlines charging for checked baggage, it's been good practice.
