Yeah, it's been a whole year of that, for one thing.

YEAR IN REVIEW: Take the first sentence (or two) from the first post of each month of 2007. That's your year in review. Italics are updates or commentary. Meme stolen from mostly everyone by now.

January 2007 : Goodnight moon. I think doing parodies of songs and existing stories is truly what I do best.
Febuary 2007: That's pretty much how I feel lately. I have to invent so many essays and art projects as of late, my muse is not really floating around...it's leaving whip marks on my back.
March 2007 : Happy birthday, Link! ...Slightly in advance, since it's only on the second of march, but I don't think i'll have time to post that day ^^
April 2007: By popular demand....   Explaining the panels.
May 2007: In the words of the Kestrel... Okay, so i'm not that nervous. Maybe slightly agitated.
June 2007: For little sick Stef...Whom I cannot visit in person, therefore we shall visit in fiction!
July 2007: Recconnection. It's weird to be back, but i'm back anyways, so I might as well get used to it.
August 2007: News from the rat tailled one.   Hello everyone. Yes, it is I. Link....
September 2007: BACK TO SCHOOL (again). Ah, the subtle mix of joy and stress that is the return to one's establishment of education.
October 2007: MAGICAL ADS!   Okay, i'm very tired but also very amused...
November 2007: A stressball named Paradox.   Well, Things are going okay.
December 2007: Maybe ever after. My parents took me to see Enchanted tonight!

The resume the year according to those lines : i'm a confused lady.

Gift giving was good this year. I got a whole lot of movies (Stardust, Oz, Ratatouille and the second season of Bones) which will come in handy when i'll draw those 12 hour drawings I do. Ironically, my xmas wish list was mostly composed of comic books. I got 3. None of then actually being on the list, but I was happy to get them. The thing I got the most was appartment stuff. Pots, pans, rice cookers, water boilers, blenders, toasters, silverware, you name it, I have it. My parents and aunts seem to have decided to fully equip me for the life out there.

I'm happy about it, though kinda puzzled about my mother's mix messages and my whole family (and a few friends) constant inquiries on why exactly i'm not moving in with Link. Simply put, I like my own space, and i'd feel like a dependant little parasite if I just skipped from one nest to another. Not to mention i'm stil ldebating if I want to go to Montreal or stay here. Yet it doesn't seem to go through people's heads. In my family, I think it's because of my two cousins recently giving birth. Everybody's on edge for grandchildren or something. The xmas party was punctuated by the frequent cries of our mighty successors; my three little baby cousins. I was stuck babysitting them for a while. I really hated that. I don't like babies. I'm afraid to drop them of poke them the wrong way. Then i'd be a baby murderer and nobody wants to be that. Plus, one of them heartfully vomited on me, which soured our budding relationship.

So anywho, i'm back from the north and considering unloading my suitcase sometime soon. Probably tomorrow. I also need to think up some new year resolutions. One of them most likely being "Update at least once a week, ya lazy bum."

I'm sorry I missed you being online! My little sister had her jaw worked on today (fixing one heck of a messed up jaw), so we all went over to boost her morale some. In some ways I'd have preferred being at home because I still have bad memories of my own stay in a hospital, but I'm glad I went all the same...

Anyway, babies! What is it with people and thinking the female relations only seem to exist as free babysitters? I always got stuck babysitting the nieces, and baby drool, snot, and throwing up still disgusts me, no matter how often I've been slimed with the stuff. Yuck. Lucky for them they eventually grow out of that stage and become truly cute, else I'd probably never have any for my own. I did have to laugh at your wording for the babysitting session though. Methinks if babies actually had some control over spitting up and the such on future loved ones, they'd not do it. (Save it for the scary/nasty people who have to hold the baby.) Oh well. In a perfect world.

(Personal space is good to have, too. Of course I'd be the advocate for not 'shacking up' with the boyfriend, but it really isn't always the best thing to do. Having your own space allows you to grow as a person, learning how to keep your living space and finances in order. Plus, not having to clean up afters others is always a bonus. I've a feeling that if you lived in the same area as Link that you two would spend a lot of time with each other anyway, regardless of the space.)

I will make it to the post office...some day! We seriously have snow on the ground, so I've not been too thrilled to drive to town in it. I'm hoping to get in there some time early next week. *sings* Somewhere deep within Washington, there dwell earrings, soon, soon will those earrings fly far from there...
