Yeah!

Today, Link finished re-shading the pages, and I finished re-drawing some panels and AW YEAH Namesake is pretty much ready to become a file that can be sent to be printed. Yessss. Behold as I share cuddly Elaine and Fred in celebration.

My parents visited Montréal today. They came by the bookstore and picked me up after work. It was pretty fun. We shared chinese food and watched Tangled Ever After. It's pretty fun to be part of a geeky family. Shame I don't see them much!

Today, while cleaning up the youth section, I kept finding these horrible comics for little girls about horses. Like... So many of them. I'm okay with the subject. Let's admit it, horses and unicorns are something that girls will always love. They rock. But I kinda feel like a lot of editors out there put zero effort into these because they figure it's going to sell even if it's crap because it's about a girl's magical adventures with her pet horse. I just want us to get a good comic with this premise. Like... I dunno, a girl set off on a quest in a magical world with only her horse as her awesome BFF. Why does it always have to be bad? Seriously. Someone write me a damn story and I will draw it, this is how tired I am of these awful comics. Good comic about her girl and her BFF horse, please.
