Woah. So tired today, it's not even funny! I was at Expozine today, and i'll be there tomorrow too. I'll do a better con report once it's done. Right now, I kinda just want to sink in a couch with a bunch of oreos and watch My Little Pony.



So, surprising no one, an Oz-themed drawing, specifically, the from the fictional universe of Wicked. I have a slight obsession with all things Oz it seems. (*cought cought Namesake cought cought*)

So, Glinda and Elphaba. Those guys! What can I say about them? Generally, I love them. I really like the musical version of Wicked. I didn’t enjoy the book as much. I did read the book way before I saw or heard about the musical. But I found it to be a difficult and dry read. A lot of interesting concepts. But it kinda sucked away the magic from Oz, and I think i’m a bit tired of the “dangerously corrupted ex-magical world” trope. Not that i’m saying all magical world should be Utopias. It's that they don't always follow the rules from our world. They always get corrupted by like... someone taking all the money, or making an evil government. Oz was already plenty dark and had fairy world problems. It seems pretty awful cool already...
