Grammar is a beautiful thing...

Which reminds me, I was having this big discussion with my studio roomie Tanya... We talked about people who randomly added chan/san/kun/ and other cute japanese words over and over in a conversation. I notice there's people who also say at loud "LOL" I do it myself once in a while in a humor manner. And I admit, I had this phase where I also introduced japanese everywhere. But when it's not a phase anymore, when you've been doing it for years, maybe it's just strange?
Although i'll admit some characters just deserve a japanese suffix. Like Ozma. I can't help called her Ozmahime. It sounds cute and it's much shorter then princess Ozma.
Speaking of Ozmahime, soon, more Oz pages, and the princess will be in them! Woo! I also have to point out how awesome Tanya and Anneka are for giving my a book called "All things Oz" containing Oz illustrations from the 1900 and never published original texts.
My pool is also filled. We now have this huuuuge backyard of very green grass. I mean, it's a big backyard. Wow.
My art stuff and homework is doing okay. I'm still waiting for the critique to happen next week so the teacher and students can give their two cents and I can figure out if the way i'm transmetting my message is working (because if people see something completly different in it, it's most likely not working) I'm doing right now detailled hair drawings. I did this one last year:

Which was a social message. The giant hairdoe contains several different historical hairdoes. Now i'm just doing characters tangled in their hair. Inspired from the Rapunzel fairy tales. Although the technique is similar, the atmosphere of the work is very different. I'm glad I decided to play again with this type of paper and pen. I'm using a special photopaper and some thin pens to draw this. I love the paper. It works so well for this type of work. I'm also glad i'm re-doing this theme since i'm not satisfied at all with this work. I like the sketch better. Some of you might recall it...It was posted online a while ago.
