Wow. My brain seems to want to make this into a story, or something.

Today, i'm going to have some serious meetings for illustration contracts. I hope I get some! They sound like fun and money is always nice. I'm also thinking of re-doing the Namesake Banner on the website. It's too small and that bugs me. Plus, I changed the character designs a bit.

I drew a poster for the con I really love. Behold, the awesome :

By the by, has everyone heard of Wacom's new Inkling

The product is described as thus : The Inkling digital sketch pen captures a digital likeness of your work while you sketch with its ballpoint tip on any sketchbook or standard piece of paper. Designed for rough concepting and creative brainstorming, Inkling is ideal for the front end of the creative process. Later, refine your work on your computer using an Intuos4 tablet or Cintiq interactive pen display.

Basically, it's a pen you can sketch with on paper. And it records what your doing and you can then transfert it to the computer. As vectors. Or scans. WITH LAYERS. I'm not gonna lie, I want this a lot. I dreamed of something like this for a while. Of course, in my dream it was a brush, but one step of technology at the time. This is going to be awesome for sketching. A little useless for doing comic pages, but it's going to make it pretty easy to produce sketch to post online....

Bottom line is : ISA LIKES.

Plus it's pretty cheap. 200$. I was expecting 1000$ when I heard about it.

I see you've warmed up to the idea. ;) On that note, Amazon is finally listing the Inkling, but it's a whopping .05 cents cheaper than the $200 price tag. Color me not amazed...but I may have to break down and get it, too. It would be nice to sketch on paper when I'm away from the computer without giving up the digital version I do prefer (most of the time).

And you need to start working on making some ideas reality before being consumed by even more ideas, methinks. :D

According to a few of my tech inclined friends, the inkling seems to have a few limits (apparently, 8.5 x 11 is the maximum page size it can take) but it still sounds rad despite those limitations.
