Terrible Ghosties

I've been on  a major ghost-story kick lately. Ghosts are my friends, dammit. But they also kinda scare me. I've always liked stories about the land of the dead and angels and ghosties. Not sure why. Especially when I was a teen. To an insane fangirly degree as a teen. 

I really need to get back into the game. I seriously ignored a large part of emails I need to read/write/etc. Brain, why are you still out of it. What does it take? Body, I gave you cookies, comics and Chinese food! BE GOOD!

Photoshop is about in the same state as me, it keeps crashing.

Today i,m doing a drawing/Scrubs marathon. Tomorrow, i,m not sure. I think i'll be ready to put my big girl pants back on next week and be social and fun again. I just really enjoy hermit life for a bit. Feels good. Needs more ice cream though.

The paranormal is fascinating. I prefer "real" ghost stories, stories of hauntings, etc., more than anything else since they're spooky enough without Hollywood trying to overdo things. But yeah, it's something I am really into as well. There's so much science cannot explain!

Dude, it could take days, weeks, months or longer before you seriously feel up to getting back into the game, so to speak. You'll know when you're ready.

I remember loving Casper The Friendly Ghost as a kid. Even though the live-action movie was pretty weird (and not in the good, creepy way).

When I was younger, my home life was very very bad, so I wished so hard that someone would take me away I ended up with a lot of succubi/ghost/alien/shapeshifting jerk imaginary friends. I ended up running away when I was 15 and now I draw them sometimes. They became like a family in a twisted way and I hate posting art of most of them because of how dear they are to my heart. There are still some forum posts I'm ashamed of under my oldest screen name that I can't get rid of. I sure was a broken mess back then lol.

You also may find it interesting that I am pretty sure there were some back alley abortions done in my house before I moved into it. Creeps me the hell out. I found uh, medical tools. I get spooked thinking about it. If a mangled fetus haunts me, I'll send it your way.

I've always been interested in stuff like that too! I love watching stuff like Haunted History. (Less like Ghost Lab, though, I think they overblow it way too much like most reality shows.)

Therein lies the rub, since the more impatient you are about it, the harder it will be to let it happen. Don't push it. You'll be surprised what happens when you don't. ^_-

(I like them all, especially those where there's contact between the living and the dead. I find it really fascinating that people who die but linger are just as they were when alive. I find it even more interesting when a person knows they are dead, and how their presence impacts their living "neighbors". Mainly those who are not bad, of course... Eh, long story short, it's interesting reading accounts on people both living and dead, and how the human interest aspect doesn't change at all.)
