I love this art piece so much. It screams Silver Millennium Venus, who I adore to pieces. I am still living and breathing Silver Millennium Sailor Moon stuff. This is what happens when you run a Shitennou & 4 guardian scouts SM tumblr, then take on Jadeite for a Tumblr RP. The details on the inside of the cloak combined with the circle of starry sky really make for a excellent pattern balance against the rest of the piece and really add to it. The expressions are just... OMG the expressions. I just want to print this out and hang it in my cubicle. (The inclusion of the moon sword always makes me squee.)
For your portfolio, I'd definitely go fairy tales. A lot of creative potential.
